Last year in the fall Chanel came out with Les Beiges, a multi-purpose bronzer or skin enhancer depending on how you use it. This summer they’ve added to the Les Beiges collection. Les Beiges Healthy Glow Multi-Color, available in 2 shades -No. 1, the lighter and No. 2 the darker of the two. They both contain broad spectrum SPF 15 and the lighter one is great for really fair skin and if you want to have a bit of warmth added to your skin, but maybe look silly using too much bronzer. Or it can be used as a warm blush when mixed all together. I like it’s multi-purpose use. No. 2 works great as a bronzer – the colors aren’t too dark and the multi-shade compact with its varying degrees of shades make it quite wearable. I’ll probably be wearing No. 2 more often than No.1 for the summer and fall and winter will probably bring out the No. 1.
The Les Beiges All-In-One Healthy Glow is a unique product. It diffuses imperfection on the face and gives a nice soft, warm glow without too much shine or fake looking attempt at a glow. Below are images of No. 30. It’s available in shades 10,20,30,40,60. I’m not sure why #50 is skipped – at least at Nordstrom and Macy’s it is, and I don’t see this online at Chanel.com as of yet. This too has SPF 15.
Here’s how I like using these this summer –
First I apply the new Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet foundation. It’s a matte foundation that is oil-free and I have found this to be lightweight and not a dull, cakey matte like so many matte foundations can be. It’s really a soft matte with soft-focus pigments to prevent it from becoming dull on the face. Then I apply the All-In-One Healthy Glow on top, sometimes all over and sometimes in specific areas like cheeks and forehead only. Then I swipe on one of the Les Beiges Healthy Glow powder for a perfect sun-kissed look. If I’m not feeling like foundation at all, I’ll skip it and just use the Les Beiges All-In-One all over the face instead. Voilà – Summer Lovin!

Love the idea of being able to skip the foundation at times!
