Gilchrist and SoamesThe first time I ever experienced the Gilchrist & Soames line of skin and hair care I was staying at a hotel. It was years ago and I had not ever heard of the line previously, but I instantly fell in love with how the products felt on my skin and the scent was so beautiful. While I loved the products – and don’t kid yourself I took the small bottles of product home with me from the hotel – I didn’t know much about the line.

Recently I’ve had the opportunity to reacquaint myself with the line and it brought back that great memory of my trip and the hotel where I was first introduced to the products.  They say scent is the sense that is most likely to evoke memories and I find that to be true.  The London Collection  is made with antioxidant-rich botanicals of red tea, soy, ginkgo biloba, grape seed and milk thistle. Unbeknownst to me, this line was made for the genteel traveler and to restore and revive.  I love that the scent to me is actually calming and so soothing to the skin.  The shampoo and conditioner leave my hair silky soft as well as smelling wonderful.  The soap is an exfoliating soap, but I found it not to be gritty like many exfoliating soaps can be. Instead this one is super soft and has a nice lather.  Another of the products I had never tried before was the lip balm.  I’m addicted to it. Like the body lotion, I want a vat of this stuff it’s so great!

    I LOVE Gilchrist & Soames. I was lucky enough to try it in a hotel but I can’t remember which. It was a Marriott in Manchester, England or an independent property in Chicago. I brought every bit of it home. This is a great giveaway!
