Sensai Eyebrow pencil

Personally I think that brows are one quick way to dramatically change your look for the better.  If done right, they make you look more youthful and frame the face beautifully. It doesn’t have to be hard to do either – and the Sensai Eyebrow Pencil is easy to use and can make a big difference.  Many of us have brows that have thinned, we’ve tweezed too much all around or have health conditions that make them not as full as they used to.   I used to say I had brows to spare they were so incredibly thick – Cara Delevingne’s brows come to mind when I was in my early 20’s like she is now. Thick, full and of abundance. Age and thyroid changed all that so daily I use a brow pencil.

This is quality made (my last brow pencil from another brand fell apart after using it about a month) and easy to use.  One end has the product and the opposite end is the spooly brush.

Sensai Brow pencil

This is the Soft Brown shade (also available in Grayish Brown) and the retractable tip is oval shaped with the formula not too soft that it wears off in a short period of time, but soft enough to blend into the skin and hairs.  Once you’ve applied it to the brows, take the spooly end and blend in the color.  It helps to soften the look and make the filled in areas appear more natural rather than a harsh line.

Above is a photo of my brows before using the Sensai Eyebrow Pencil. I still have quite a bit of brow hairs, but they are thinned in some areas – like the inner side, especially on the left facing brow. Most of that is a natural, hereditary thing with our family brows – the brows have a cowlick there. My brows are somewhat shorter in length too, which I’m told is a sign/effect of thyroid disease, so I like to fill them in on the ends to extend them a bit.

This “after” photo above shows where I filled in with the Sensai Eyebrow Pencil. I have natural red tones in my hair so this Soft Brown shade works well. The thing with brows is that you don’t want to use too dark of a shade – they appear less natural.  I will tell you, in person – rather than my super-close up photo here, the shade blends in beautifully and is practically undetectable.

Sensai Eyebrow Pencil sells for $28 and is available at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.
