It’s summer and the beauty is sizzling hot at CVS!  There are so many new beauty products hitting the shelves this summer at CVS Beauty that it’s definitely worth taking a good look. Lips

New lip glosses and balms.  Rimmel Stay Glossy , a shiny and shimmery gloss. Stay Glossy 3D a shiny and shimmery gloss that stays up to 6 hours. CoverGirl SmooChies lip balm a lipstick that is like a balm and Almay Color & Care Liquid Lip Balm -goes on like a gloss, feels like a balm. Mascaras

Four new mascaras to choose from – whether you want volume, length or a combo of both, you’ll find it here.  From L-R, CoverGirl Flamed Out for maximum volume.  Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless, a fiber mascara that gives longer and stronger lashes. This is made with the Grow Lash Complex of Procapil Keratin and Antioxidants to condition lashes. After 30 days lashes appear longer, stronger and more numerous.  Rimmel Scandaleyes  Show Off Mascara. This is a fiber mascara that gives volume and the ball-tipped applicator lifts lashes too. Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes – a 360° False Lash Effect.  This is said to lift the upper lashes and magnify lower lashes.  I’ll be focusing more on these mascaras in the future.  Stay tuned for that.

Hands

Garnier has a new hand cream – Skin Renew Dark Spot Hand Treatment, to lighten dark spots that appear from the sun and other aging causes.  It also has a broad spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent future skin damage.  It’s lightweight and non greasy and has a fresh summery scent too.  Nicole nail polish has a new Gumdrop collection with the shade Lilac shown above. This nail polish dries to a textured matte finish that has reflective light particles.  Revlon’s Brilliant Strength nail polish strengthens while giving brilliant shine to nails.  This shade is #130 Inflame.CoverGirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Glosstinis, miniature nail polishes with lasting color.  CVS Almond Oil Cuticle Pen. Pop the end off and there is a brush to apply the oil and then put the top back on and push the cuticles back with the rubber tipped end. It keeps the cuticles moisturized and soft and smells oh, so good!

Body and Hair

On the body and hair front Vaseline has a Spray & Go moisturizer that is infused with pure cocoa butter and works like a charm!  I love this – spray on the lotion and in seconds you can get dressed and your skin feels moisturized!  Jergens Crema Deep Conditioning Shea Butter for extra-dry skin. My skin has been getting a workout this past week with sun, water, chlorine and more – this is super soothing and makes my skin super soft and it smells yummy! Nuance Salma Hayek Texturizing Sea Salt Spray is a great alternative to more expensive brands.  I have a natural wave in my hair and when I want those waves to be more “beachy” then I spray this in my hair when it’s damp and I get some great waves.

Skincare

Clearasil’s new face wash is Refreshing Superfruit Wash with 1% Salicylic Acid acne medication and raspberry and cranberry extracts for preventing blemishes.  L’Oreal new ultra light texture Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Glow Renewal.  It’s a facial oil for dull, dry skin made with 8 essential oils to be applied after cleansing and before moisturizing. Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Treatment Mask.  A 10 minute tissue mask that is hydrating and leaves skin radiant with Vitamin C. Nuance Salma Hayek Hydra Light Moisturizing Gel is made with cucumber extract, apple fruit extract and aloe leaf juice. This is very light yet refreshing and moisturizing to the face.  RoC has a new 5 in 1 Daily Moisturizer with broad spectrum SPF 30 to improve the look of discoloration, sagging, dryness, dull tone and wrinkles. And last, but not least, L’Oreal Youth Code Texture Perfector.  I love Youth Code and this serum is a concentrate to refine texture, pores and lines. I love how this absorbs instantly and leaves the skin super soft and smooth.

Eyes

Rimmel Exaggerate undercover shadow primer is great that it applied practically undetectable and it makes your shadows that you apply over it waterproof!  Almay has new    Soothing and De-Puffing gentle eye makeup remover pads.  I’ve used their other pads when in a beauty crunch and love them.  These are oil free, too!  CoverGirl + Olay Eye Rehab 2 in 1 is a brightening concealer and hydrating serum in one. This offers excellent lightweight coverage and feels good under the eyes. Rimmel Scandaleyes eye shadow stick that is creamy and waterproof.  Excellent for summer!  This shade is Bad Girl Bronze.

Face

And last, but certainly not least the face.  Lumene Time Freeze Anti-Age CC Color Correcting Cream with Wild Arctic Lingonberry.  This is a 6-in-1 tinted cream with broad spectrum sunscreen SPF 20. Rimmel has joined the BB Cream line with 9-in-1 Skin Perfecting Super Makeup with broad spectrum SPF 25. CoverGirl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation.  A new formula in  the Clean line with the whipped texture.
