Dior Jelly Lip Pens are part of the limited edition Summer Collection for 2013, Bird of Paradise. While personally I am not a fan of the 5 pan shadow palette Blue Lagoon, I find Peacock to be more wearable, but it was the Jelly Lip Pens that I was attracted to. A trio of pens that are in shades of pink, nude and coral. Since I already have the Lip Crayon in Folklore from Laura Mercier’s Summer Collection, I opted for the more nude shade, Copacabana.
The Dior Jelly Lip Pens are a sheer, shiny bit of color on the lips. These are super moisturizing, soft and smooth and are like a gentle cushion to the lips. Unlike many glosses, which can feel sticky or tacky and weighted on the lips, these are practically weightless and more like a silky balm. Another thing I like about these Lip Pens are that they are easy to reapply – just swipe them on – no mirror or precise application needed to apply. How are these different than the Laura Mercier Lip Crayons? They both are retractable, but the Dior ones are not as chunky in size and they are more sheer in color.
Copacabana is a warm nude, brownish pink that is a little deeper than a natural lip color, so if looking for a polished look but still want a hint of color this summer – this may be the perfect shade for you. If you like a pop of color, but don’t necessarily like “wow” vibrancy, these fit the bill, too.

GOT TO HAVE THESE!!!!!
I am really curious about this product but thought that it might be greasy on the lips. Now that you said that it is not sticky at all, then I will buy one for myself as soon as I hit the store.
