Now with a chill in the air I’m ready to change out my linen shirts to knit sweaters and along with that it’s time to change out my fragrance. I’ve never been a sweet scented perfume gal, but especially in the fall I love a more woodsy and warmth to my fragrance and this new NARCISO is a perfect fit for the seasonal transition. NARCISO NARCISO EDP 2014_STILL_LIFE_CMYK_A4_300dpi

For Her, Narciso Rodriguez’s popular fragrance had a note in it that I didn’t quite fall in love with, but the new NARCISO I can’t get enough of it. It’s feminine while not fruity or sweet, with vetiver to give it the woody scent, white and dark cedars with lucid gardenia and radiant Bulgarian rose, musk and amber give NARCISO the warmth and sensuality, but still keep it feminine.

The scented body lotion is perfect for day when you want a light version of this scent (not that the fragrance is heavy, because it’s not) but the subtleness is perfect when you just want a hint of scent and the lotion makes the skin very silky soft.  Wear the fragrance alone or top it over the body lotion – it’s not too powerful when layering the two.

The bottles are beautifully simple with the cube shape and stone-white lacquer, which is true to Narciso Rogriguez’s style of beauty and logic.

“The stone-white color of the bottle was matched to a stone I found on the shore in Cyprus on a visit to Aphrodite’s birthplace” ~Narciso Rodriguez

For now the fragrance is exclusive to Bloomingdales, but I’m guessing that with the holidays approaching it will become more widely accessible soon.
