Are you a Lancome fan? I talked a few weeks back about how I reacquainted myself with Lancome during a facial treatment. Then one night while at a party several of us were discussing what some of our favorite makeup products were and Lancome kept on coming up, so I had to give a few products a try. Now I have several in my makeup repertoire that I use some daily, and at least weekly.
Hypnose Drama – The latest addition to their ever-famous mascara collection. This one curls, thickens and gives “wow” lashes.
Absolue Ultimate Night Bx Serum – This is one of the products used on me during a facial and I buy it over and over again and use it nightly. Besides being good for my skin and reducing the look of wrinkles it smells lovely.
Tresor Fragrance – I love the floral combination of this fragrance. It’s not overpowering so it can be worn during the day, yet pretty enough for evening.
Miel Glace Blush – After reading that this was a blush that was used on Kate Winslet for a red carpet event, I thought I’d check out the blush. Only I thought I wouldn’t like it once I saw it. Then the sa tried it on me and I instantly fell in love. It’s that perfect shade of warmth and color without being bold. You ought to give it a try.
Sheer Amourose Blush – a soft, sheer rose blush that adds a hint of rose color to the cheeks, but keeps it sheer so it doesn’t scream color. Perfect for a polished look.
Tropiques Minerale Loose Bronzing Powder – Alex Sanchez, one of Lancome’s makeup artists, used this on me during a makeover and I had to buy it after seeing it on my face. It adds that “just been at the beach” glow to my face. I use the Natural Golden shade.
Absolue Precious Cells – This was sent to me by Lancome to try out when they first released it. I was worried that it might be too heavy as it is a thicker cream for day (the one I use has SPF 15), but I love it. It’s not too heavy, keeps my skin moisturized and I swear wrinkles at bay too.
Absolue Premium Bx– I heard that this was one of Sandy Linter’s favorite products, so I figured I HAD to give it a try. I keep this in my rotation of moisturizers as it’s lighter weight than Precious Cells, smells divine and gives my skin the perfect amount of moisture from hot humid summer days to cold dry winter ones.
Color Design Eye shadow– The shade Vue is a pinkish sheer shimmer eye shadow that adds a nice veil of color. It stays put, the shimmer is the right texture, and it works with many other shades of eye shadows for blending.
L’Absolu Rouge Lipsticks – I’ve raved about this formula many times and I’ve bought many, many shades. It’s a perfect texture, the shades are plentiful, and once you’ve given them a try you’ll know why I love them because you will too!
Oscillation PowerFoundation – I admit, I had a not so great preconceived notion about this foundation. Vibration (really?) and a mineral powder which are typically not my favorite. Lancome sent me this to try and again I was pleasantly surprised. I actually like the fact that you don’t have to swirl and swirl a powder brush – the sponge applicator does it all for you. It gives my skin a smooth look, and it doesn’t discolor on me like many mineral powders do.
BiFacil Makeup Remover – Doesn’t every woman who wears any type of eye makeup use this remover? I’ve tried others that claim to be better than this and they actually were so drying to my eye area that I ended up having more wrinkles than I ever had! Yep, I immediately went back to BiFacil. Lancome always has a mini version of this in their GWP and they are perfect for travel.
Currently I’m testing Precious Cells for the eyes – I’ll be sharing my results on that and a giveaway! I’ll also be sharing with you some new lip products by Lancome in the very near future, so stay tuned!
All items were purchased by me except where mentioned.
Strangely enough, I just bought a boatload of Lancôme products because of a GWP situation at Nordstrom. I tried and am loving
‘Courbe Virtuôse’ Divine Lasting Curves Mascara–it really works! It really curls my lashes!
Flash Retouche pen concealer–brilliant! More coverage than Yves St. Laurent’s Touch Eclat
and the GWP eyeshadow quad included a shade “Désigner” that is a gorgeous shimmery moss green that really brings out the green in my hazel eyes.
I was thinking about the oscillation foundation in the same way that you were. Not sure that I wanted to try it. But I ADORE my oscillation mascara and like you I am a long time fan of Hynose so I wasn’t ready to convert over to oscillation! I find that they have separate looks so I switch back and forth depending on how thick I want my lashes to be or if I am going more for a subtle spiky look, something more clean and natural. Glad that Kari sent us over to your blog!

Agree with what you said about BiFacil Makeup Remover. Their foundations are great too. I think the definicills (I know it isn’t spelled correctly) is my all time favorite mascara.
I love there A’bsolu Rouge lipstick. I love the formula. Have been wanting to try the new Hypnose mascara. Thanks Kari for sending us over and please enter me in the Lancome contest.

An unemployed Lancome user now forced to use cheapie cosmetics. There is no going back without severe withdrawal symptoms!!
I love the “BiFacil Makeup Remover” because it really effectively removes my make up.
I got a sample of the Absolue Precious Cells when I bought Blush Subtil Shimmer in Mandarin Sky. You’re right, it is great! Dying to try the Hypnose Drama, the brush looks so interesting.
Recently came across your blog, as well as gradually getting into Lancome. Can’t wait to read more of your blog!
Oh found out about your blog from The Non-Blonde- bookmarked you! Very happy to find a peer reviewing products. I adore 25-30 year old women but we don’t wear stuff the same way….
I have several HGs in Lancome, the number one being the waterproof under-eye protectant & concealer Effacernes. Can’t live without.

Wonderful reviews…now I’ll have to try some more products! I myself love the lipsticks and the Flash Retouche…I especially love #4, which is more of a highlighter…it’s amazing for brightening the eye area! As a mineral makeup user, I’ll definitely put the Oscillation PowerFoundation on my list.
lancome seems to be a brand inspired from women and also devoted for women . it is created with love and care to show the beauty part in every woman . i really would like to win lancome products i will be thankful !!
As I posted on Face Book, I had used Lancome several years ago and then decided to try other makeup lines. My face broke out, had red rashes & splotches~it was not real good idea. I went to one of the Lancome make-up events and had my make up done. Didn’t break out or get red rashes & blotches.~ so I went back to using Lancome which is a bit more expensive but my skin and make-up look great. Starting over again ~ I have liked everything I have purchased so far! Winning some would be great!
