Have you tried the new L’Oreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes mascara?  It’s another Beauty on a Budget item that I am loving these days.

For several years I had used L’Oreal Voluminous mascara – it was the only budget beauty brand mascara that I could find would give my long, but wimpy lashes the oomph I craved.   I had moved away over time to more expensive “designer” mascaras for whatever the reason may be.   But, this new Voluminous False Fiber Lashes has me reconsidering the drugstore brands again.

Voluminous False Fiber Lashes Mascara

Voluminous False Fiber Lashes comes in a triangular shaped gold tube and the brush head is a medium/long length that is wider at the base than at the top.  I noticed that the head of the brush is ever so slightly angled – in fact I wondered it I had done it, but as you can see from the image above there is a slight tilt to it.  I suspect that makes it easier to work with ergonomically.

Here is the look I got with using only two coats of the mascara – do they look like false lashes?!!   I have long lashes, but as I said, they are wimpy and Voluminous False Fiber Lashes gives them definition, volume and shows off the length much better.  And, please don’t tell me I need to learn how to apply mascara!  My lashes grow in different directions towards the outer corner of my eyes – literally some horizontal, some vertical and some inward and yet others outward.   There’s nothing I can do about it, as I’ve lived with it for years.  So if you think the ends of my lashes are a “clumpy mess” – it’s not the mascara – it’s my wonky lashes.   I had no flaking, or smudging whatsoever with this mascara.
