The makeup mirror on my wish list this holiday season is a lighted version made by Conair. This company has been in the business of creating consumer beauty appliances since 1959. I still remember being excited by my first Conair hairdryer whenever I entered my teenage years. Their designs have changed over the years, but their ability to manufacture cutting edge beauty appliances has not. The Conair TM7L Double-Sided Lighted Makeup Mirror is an item that I am wishing longingly for.
This 3 panel mirror offers fog free mirrors with a center mirror capable of 1X or 5X magnification. This is an important component to cosmetic application for me, as I can see slightly less sharply close up, a phenomenon commonly referred to as “over 40 eyes”.
The 4 light settings provide lighting recreated to represent the following environments:
* Office
* Day
* Evening
* Home
The swing panels allow you to view your profile and are easily adjusted to accommodate your position. A good mirror means a lot to me and this model, which retails for around $ 50.00 is worth the price to ensure that I will look my best in every light.

I had one very similar to that one growing up (exactly the same except single mirror), had it well into my 30’s when it disappeared during a move. Had a very hard time replacing it! Nice to see it is being made again, this time with a triple mirror.
I use a 2-sided magnifying mirror, but it’s one with the accordion extension that is attached at eye-level next to my medicine cabinet. It works out fine for me, because that’s where I put on my makeup and I don’t have room for a “sit down” session!
Sounds like a must have!
