One of the things that Cate Blanchett is known for is her red carpet looks. She always wears clothes that are a daring and many are architecturally structured. And by daring I don’t mean revealing necessarily, they just aren’t your typical gowns. Another thing that Cate is known for is her stunning skin. At 44 she still has flawless skin. Cate has been a fan of SK-II skincare for years and is their spokesperson. But, unlike most spokespeople, she actually was a fan of the line long before they asked her to be a spokesperson, which is a true testament to how highly she thinks of the SK-II skincare line.
Recently she walked the red carpet for the Woody Allen movie Blue Jasmine wearing one of her daring gowns by Balenciaga and flawless skin compliments of SK-II, which was a sponsor for the event. So what was her skincare for the night?
LXP Ultimate Revival Essence. This is the first step in skincare and it has the highest concentration of Pitera in the SK-II line. Pitera is their key ingredient for promoting hydration, acts as a healthy barrier to the skin and it improves resilience.
Signs Eye Mask – This helps reduce the look of fine lines around the eyes and it gives a boost of hydration with Pitera. I’ve used these before and they are fantastic for making the eyes suddenly look awake and refreshed.
Facial Treatment Repair C – This serum is a concentrate that is full of anti-aging ingredients, including Pitera, that leaves the skin looking radiant.
To top her skin, for foundation she used SK-II Facial Treatment Cream Foundation. This too has Pitera and the foundation creates a radiant glow to the skin.
SK-II is available at Nordstrom, Saks and Sephora
