Have you heard about Dior’s newest skincare product? It’s called DreamSkin. At first I wondered what it really was – is it a primer, is it skincare, what really is it? Well, it’s both and better. DreamSkin is made to be applied after you’ve put on your serum and moisturizer and it works like a primer to be applied before makeup. But, unlike most primers that are just made to smooth out wrinkles and imperfections before you apply foundation, Dior DreamSkin actually has skincare properties in it so you are getting extra benefits of skincare.
There are several reasons I like this new product. Unlike some primers this does not have SPF – while I’m a huge proponent of SPF, using SPF in several of your skincare products can leave your skin with that white look. This has active optical minerals that gives your skin a smooth feel and glow and I love how it smooths out and fills in the fine lines. Unlike typical primers which don’t have skincare benefits, this continues to give your skin the benefits of anti-aging since this is part of their Capture Totale line you get the benefits of stem cells with the Longoza and Opillia extracts that come from the Dior gardens. Yes, Dior has their own gardens in which they cultivate many of their skincare ingredients!
Because DreamSkin has a slight tint to it, if your skin is either wonderful enough or you don’t use foundation but want a little something, or just want a “polish” to your skin without a full face of makeup (think running to the club or errands on a Saturday) well, this gives your skin a flawless look. Just put this on with a little mascara and a gloss and you are ready to go! But under your foundation this works beautifully to give your skin a flawless look. I’m obsessed with Dior DreamSkin!

I love this product! What everyone needs to understand is that Dior is a European skin line and in Europe you apply you SPF as a separate step. This is the reason why so many women here in the USA have irritation problems with their skincare products.
Hi!
My question on this would be…you apply the DreamSkin after your serum and moisturizer? You say it does not have an SPF …so that would mean that you would then need to apply your SPF on top of the DreamSkin. Wouldn’t that just destroy all the visual effects of the DreamSkin???
I would either use a foundation that has SPF or use your serum, moisturizer, SPF and then DreamSkin.
