Votre Vu French Accents

Some may say nudes are boring, but these pieces from the French Accents line by Votre Vu are far from boring, they’re beautiful!

Palette Play in Nude

Nude Palette

One could never call this Palette Play in Nude boring with these mix of beautiful colors and textures. The matte New Canvas (cream tone) shade is great for all over. The Pale Earth shade is a light to mid tone brown in matte, Pretty Penny is a coppery taupe in shimmer and Rich Bronze pretty much describes that shade and it also is a shimmer shade.  These shadows contain good-for-your-skin ingredients like vitamin E, jojoba oil, kaolin clay for long-lasting, crease-proof color. The minerals used are not low-cost, but premium minerals, and  the shades are all talc free. This palette is great because with a light hand you can easily wear during the day or deepen the shades for a more sultry look.

 Chocolate liner

Le Joli Cray is a soft gel pencil liner with a smudge end to work easily into the lash line and then soften out with the smudge end. The Chocolate shade is a nice medium milk chocolate color. The pencil contains grape seed extract and candelilla wax for its emollient properties. It also comes with its own sharpener, too.

French Kiss Lip Lustre Lip shades

Oh these lips! The lipstick French Kiss in Lisette has become my go-to shade for summer, along with the gloss Lip Lustre in Tender. Lisette is a deep rose that doesn’t go on dark. It’s super moisturizing and has a kiss of vanilla mint flavor. Yummy! It contains natural plant waxes and vitamin E and SPF 8.  On my hand it’s the 3rd from the top shade and in the photo at top it’s the left shade.  The other shade is beautiful as well, just didn’t work as well with my skin tone. That one is Colette.  I love the glosses as well.  Sultry and Tender are the shades shown here. In the tube, Tender is the top and on my hand it’s the 2nd shade.  Again, Sultry is a beautiful shade, just doesn’t work as well with my fair skin.   The Lip Lustre glosses contain green tea, Vitamin E.  If I want a more shiny, sheer look I just apply the gloss.  If I want a more “made up” lip look I use both Lisette and top it with Tender.

We Americans always seem to want to emulate the look of French women – this is a great way to do that. Simple, easy, classic, beautiful.
