Try and get into natural light. That is the best place to match your foundation. So even if you’re at a department store, if you have a little compact mirror, then step outside into the daylight and see how it truly looks. If it looks great, then buy it!

Where?! I have always had this problem. Unless I buy the foundation, take it home, or into the ladies room after I buy it, I can’t ever see how it will look on me. Very frustrating!

Foundation can last anywhere between a year to 18 months. You really don’t need anything like say 10 foundations for a wardrobe, but a few would be good.

I like the “wardrobe” suggestion too and I couldnt agree more about sampling. My last two considerations were generously sampled. They were both perfect suggestions. I enjoyed working with them a few days to make sure. I went back and purchased both. If you are working with the right beauty advisor, they will do so cheerfully!
