We all know that shaving the underarms can make the skin dry, red and irritated. But did you know your skin on the underarms can also lose up to 50% of its moisture causing those red marks and even leading to dark marks as well?  According to Dove, nearly 32 million US women have this issue.  Who knew, right?  Well obviously Dove does and created Dove Clear Tone Antiperspirant/deodorant  to help reduce these irritations.

We think of things like calendula, sunflower seed extracts as ingredients we find in body care to soothe irritated skin, but now it’s in Dove Clear Tone as well.  This also has Dove’s special 1/4 moisturizers to soften the skin and help restore it to its natural tone in as little as two weeks, according to Dove. And of course it offers 48 hours wetness and odor protection – even through my rigorous workouts.

The newest scent in the Dove Clear Tone line is Pink Rosa and it smells so fresh and good! It’s a fruity/floral scent with violet, rose and raspberry blossom.  What I especially like about this is that not only does is smell nice and feminine, it’s not too strong of a scent so it’s not irritating to someone like me who has a sensitive nose. And of course I love that it doesn’t leave those annoying white streaks on clothing as well.

    I tried these once, and they are actually quite nice – not just a gimmick. The one I had smelled nice and kept me from getting stinky. I don’t ahve armpit discoloration, so I can’t say if that aspect worked or not.
