Women over 40 beauty, Skincare, Fashion, Fitness and Lifestyle

We are all aware that 1 in every 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime and that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. There are numerous companies contributing to the cause which makes it a great time to give and receive something in return. I have done a “round-up” of some of the most impressive offers:

 Vionic

* Fashion Footwear Charitable Foundation has a Vionic “Tahoe” sneaker with pink stripes which are designed by a podiatrist and and are endorsed by Dr. Andrew Weil and will be available at 50% off of the suggested retail price on QVC on October 10th. Proceeds will be directly funneled to breast cancer research, education, and awareness.

Shiseido

* Shiseido has a new line of Lacquer Rouge liquid lip color which are deeply pigmented and leave a “wet” look on your lips. They are donating $ 5.00 of every purchase of the pink shade named “Diva” to the breast cancer cause.

Jane Iredale

* jane iredale, who promotes “Living Beyond Breast Cancer” is offering a product named Bright Future, which is a mirrored compact with 5 eyeshadows, an applicator brush, and garnished with a rose-colored Swarovski crystal for $ 30.00. A whopping 100% of the profits will go to LBBC.

murad

* Murad is offering “Hydrate for Hope” in October – a moisturizer accompanied by a hot pink makeup bag which normally retails for $ 65.00 but will be offered this month for $ 49.50 with 10% of the sales going to various breast cancer programs.

 Primavera

* Primavera, an organic skincare line, is donating 75% of their online sales in October for their Restoring Sallow Thorn Body Lotion, ($30.00), to Boosting Cancer Patient’s Confidence Organization.

Lip Treatment

* Sensai Cellular Performance Total Lip Treatment, ($68.00), which targets the fines lines around the mouth and smooths the lips is pledging 15% of the sales of this product to the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer benefit.

Edward Marc

* Last, but not least, treat yourself to Edward Marc’s Chocolatier Pink Pecan Caramel Terrapins, which are caramels covered in Texas pecans, dipped in chocolate, and drizzled with pink ribbons. These treats are $24.00 and available on www.EdwardMarc.com, and they are granting 20% of their online sales to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

I hope that these offers will motivate you to donate!
