Ashley Judd, what a beauty! Yes, I know she isn’t over 40 – at least I don’t think so, but she is the spokeswoman for American Beauty Cosmetics. Definitely a line that can be worn by women over 40.
American Beauty is available at Kohl’s department stores and online, and it’s a beauty line that for some reason I haven’t paid a whole lot of attention.
Ashley is sporting the Bronzed Lilac Look and it made me pay attention! The colors are gorgeous – bronze shades with a touch of lilac and bronzed pinks and the bronzer shades are subtle, yet sunny.
The whole line is reasonably priced – not quite as inexpensive as say L’Oreal, but not quite department store prices, somewhere in between. But this Bronzed Lilac Look is available in a packaged collection for only $25! Available as a limited edition. You get:
- Eyeshadow duo in Antique Lilac – a soft medium lilac shade and a slightly shimmery bronze
- Face Bronzer in Sun Chic – this could definitely work for fair skinned women, and it has a slight goldeny shimmer as well.
- Lipstick in Golden Violet in the Moisture Rich formula. This is a deep violet with a golden shimmer – very dimensional and super moisturizing.
- Sample sized Beauty Boost Overnight Radiance Cream.
You can purchase the Bronzed Lilac Look pieces separately and it also has additional colors and pieces in addition to the kit.
- Ultra-Easy eyeliner in Auburn
- Bronzing Powder in High Summer
- Pretty Glossy Luscious Lipshine in Pink Parfait
- Moisture Rich Lipcolor in Pinky Bronze
- Fabulous Feel Liquid Lipcolor in Amaretto
If you haven’t checked out American Beauty, it’s definitely worth giving it at least a look. It’s a line owned by Estée Lauder, so you know it is quality products.
i dont like the new maybeline stileto mascera. I like rimmel when on a budget. it did give my lashes length but thats not my issue i like them to be thicker. my lashes were’nt thick and they were not as long as normal. I love este lauder mascaeras, dior, and clinique mascaeras but i believe mascaera and foundation should be your primary expense and the rest of the face like bronzers, shadow, lips you can be a budget buyer on but never the base of your face and lashes so i say spend the extra money on those two vital cosemetics. skin care now omg i dont even know where to begin. just use the olay line if your looking for results on a budget. but i like este lauder and philosophy line my self. I use olay total effects spf 15 ff and the cleansing cloths for combo skin when i cant afford the good stuff. i always have a cleanser, day mositurizer spf, night cream, and an eye cream. I do resort to olay if i cant get my favorite products. I did try out this crap from avant that i hated it caused redness, sometimes nature ain’t the best for your skin. skin likes compatiable ingredinets. stick with the tried and true olay ingredients. Um the only natural thing i put i am skin is honey with crushed up hazel nut to exfoliate thats it . i cant believe that woman can bitch about spending 17 bucks on an eye cream and bitch it did not look they had plastic surgery umm…… last i checked that was budget. stop your whining. and be happy that decent priced products can be found on the shelves at your local walmart that do deliver some results. Maybeline has the best lip gloss on the block too they all have improved with the lip department. those are my thoughts on women on a budget.
DONT FORGET YOUR NECK AND DONT BE LAZY EITHER JUST DO IT. PUT IT ON THE NECK LADIES.
