IT Cosmetics has developed a new blush, Vitality Cheek Flush, that is a powder stain. My first thoughts are how brilliant! So many of us don’t like liquid stains because of their difficulty in application to get an even, soft look. Powder blush oftentimes doesn’t last very long, so this new powder stain is a perfect solution!
Vitality Cheek Flush is also enriched with anti-aging ingredients that include amino acids, plum oil, cherry oil, hyaluronic acid, pomegranate, jojoba, aloe, seaweed extract and grapeseed, and Vitamins A, C, E and acai, green and white tea. This sounds more like an amazing skincare product than a blush, doesn’t it? The powder is micro-milled long-wear and waterproof. It’s also paraben free and both non-comedogenic and hypoallergenic.
But the true question is how does it perform? When applied with the new French Boutique Luxe Blush Brush (Shown on top and below) it can go on heavily if not applied carefully. Meaning, a little goes a long way, so it’s not necessary to use a heavy hand for this blush to show up on the cheeks. As shown on my hand above, it gives a nice flush shade to the skin. This shade is Matte Sweet Apple. And it stays a long. long. time. Longer than any long-wear blush I’ve used. When I put it on at 6:30 a.m. the other day, at noon my blush looked no different than it had nearly 6 hours earlier when I applied it. Love it!
The new French Boutique Luxe Blush Brush was designed with leading plastic surgeons to give the perfect airbrushed application. And on top of that, the brush is gorgeous – how often is that said about a brush? The end (bottom) tip has a matte finish so it doesn’t slip from the hand and then in the center is a piece that I believe is acrylic but looks like a heavy glass with the IT logo on it. The brush head is 100% cruelty free brush hairs and very plush. You can see above how it picks up the color of the blush so easily so again, not a lot is needed.

For your readers, I will second your review! I have this in Pretty in Peony and this stuff is awesome. Don’t know how they do it, don’t care. I’m a very fair red head so I have to be careful with blush or I wind up looking like Ronald McDonald. The first time I applied it…..whoa! You’re so right, you have to use a really light hand with it. But once you figure that out, it’s amazing. From your swatch, you appear to be somewhat fair skinned also and the matte apple color looks great on you. I’m going to have to go back for that one now. I was considering it but was worried that it would be too red. I’m now blaming you for the ding in my wallet 🙂

This is definitely the best product of its kind out there. Too bad I just discovered it now. I would use this one and I am loving the anti-aging ingredients. This is something that you can wear everyday since it lasts long and it is very good for the skin.
