A handbag is a personal expression of yourself.  We thought we’d share what each of us has in our bag so you can get to know us a little better. 

 

Carrie’s bag

K – Boy do we both carry a lot of crap in our bag! Did you get a new LV bag?   
C – Ummmmm…   Maybe!  Hubby has an obsession with Louis! Not that I’m complaining!

K – So what’s up with the banana?
C – (Laughing) I always carry a banana in my purse in case I get hungry!  I’m always hungry!

K- Wet Ones 
C- I’m always spilling shit on myself in the car!

K- Altoids & gum, OK I get it.

K-Is that another new LV wallet?
C -Ummm…….. maybe!

K – Oh I like those readers!
C – I’ve got 15 more at home if you need a pair!  

K – Is your car starter just a fob or do you need to actually turn a key?  I have a love/hate relationship with my fob.  I love how easy they are to use, but then I hate that I can never find my apartment keys because I just need my fob! 
C – I love my fob! 

K – I love Magnolia Journal!
C – Me too! I just went to Magnolia Farms a couple weeks ago with some friends.  And a little “mom brag” there’s a house featured in here that my daughter worked on!

K – I’m dying to ask – what is that lipstick and what is the shade?
C – Ha!  Not really a lipstick, but more of a lip moisturizer.  Burts Bees Glossy #517 Pink Pool

K – I can’t go anywhere these days without lotion – do you love that one?
C – I’m always just grabbing random small purse size ones whenever I see them.  🙂

K – What is that Galleria thing?
C – It’s a compact mirror.  See above, I love the Galleria and I really love my hubby!!

K – Well, last but not least, Bud Lite.  I get this, but I know you will definitely need to explain that for everyone!
C – Well, I usually don’t carry one at all times, but I knew I was going to your place and you never have beer for me!

Kari’s bag

C – I love that bag! It’s a great Fall color. What kind is it?   
K – Thanks! It’s a Tory Burch.  I really like Hobo style bags.  Even though you know, why not dig around at the bottom of your bag for everything?! 

C – Girl, how many lipstick do you have in there??? Do you own lipstick stock or what?
K – I really should own stock! Seriously though, I never count how many I have. I just grab and throw them in my bag and before you know it I have something like 15 or maybe in 25 in there! But who’s counting!  And I’m obsessed with my Sara Happ lip balm.  

C – Cool wallet, I like the color. Is it new?
K – It’s a Tory Burch. Is there a theme here?  It’s not new, but I do love how it holds everything. 

C – Oh, I like those sunglasses!  Are they the only pair you own??  Just kidding, I helped you organize your closet, remember?!
K – These are Rag & Bone, but OK I kind of do have an obsession.  Not quite as bad as my lipstick obsession, but I swear it’s getting there!  I got these at Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Which BTW is the best time to buy designer sunglasses!  

C – So what kind of hand lotion is that?
K – By Terry. I love the light rose scent it has.  But it doesn’t smell like your granny’s rose scented stuff. This is more fresh. 

C – Why the notebook in your bag?
K – Because I’m old and forgetful! LOL!  No, I am always on the go and my mind goes 100 mph and sometimes I just need to stop and write things down. And honestly, look at how damn cute this Sugar Paper notebook is!   They have THE best papers!  

C – I love that scarf, where is it from?
K – It’s an Ann Taylor one from last season.  I like to add a scarf to many of my handbags for a little pop of color.  OK I’m getting sick of that saying “little pop of color”, but it’s really true that it does do that.

C – Why do you have that bottle of Pellegrino in your bag?
K – Same reason you have beer!
