Congratulations to winner Doreen!
One of my all-time favorite skin care lines is Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare. If my skin is ever irritated, I always grab my Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturizer as it instantly calms it. When I was spending time recently at Rancho La Puerta people were asking me what I use on my skin because it looked so good. I had my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and the Skin Repair Moisturizer with me. One woman was so intrigued that on my last day I gave her the rest of my cleanser! I hope she loves it as much as I do! If you want to hear more of what I have to say about the skin care line, you can click Fab Over Forty and here.
When I heard that Liz Earle was coming out with a haircare line, I just knew it would have the same spectacular natural ingredients and I would have wonderful results as well. I was right! I’ve been using the new Botanical Shine Shampoo and the Botanical Shine Conditioner for dry and damaged hair for about a month now and Liz Earle does not disappoint.
The shampoo leaves my hair soft, full and shiny. Not so soft that I have trouble styling, but soft and manageable. It smells fresh and lovely, too! The shampoo is made with 89% naturally derived ingredients and a cleansing agent derived from coconut, and SLS(sodium lauryl sulfate) free and SLES(sodium laureth sulfate)free.
I was nervous about the conditioner – should I use the normal or dry/damaged hair version (oily is available too). I chose the dry/damaged hair version because I do color my hair and it tends to dry out quickly – especially with the cooler, drier air season approaching. The texture is fabulous! Not too heavy, not too thick, but a nice, soft creamy texture that moisturizes without weighing down my hair. The range of conditioners are made from 95% naturally derived ingredients and all the hair care products are safe even for children.
The lovely people at Liz Earle have offered to do a giveaway of the new Botanical Shine Shampoo and their choice of Botanical Shine Conditioner in either Oily, Normal or Dry/Damaged to one lucky reader. Sweet!
