Harry Josh Flat Iron

The Harry Josh Ceramic Styling Iron is one of the hottest flat irons around. It’s loved by celebrities and models alike, many of whom are Harry Josh’s own clients. I was sent this flat iron to test out and let me dream of having Gisele hair, (ha!) one of his famous clients.

I have hair that is fine and has a wave to my hair and tends to get frizzy in humidity or in super-dry conditions. I’ve also tried a few other flat irons over the years and this one is different than the others I’ve tried.  First off the plate is larger than others that I’ve used.  This one is approximately 1 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ so you have to do fewer passes on the hair to get more coverage. Also, with my fine hair on some of the flat irons I’ve used my hair slips through them too easily to really be able to grasp the hair and let it pass through straightening it along the way. This one allows for a nice grip of the hair so it allows my fine hair to straighten. There are ceramic heaters in each plate to give the plates even heat distribution while producing far infrared heat to add shine while sealing the cuticle, according to the company.

This also comes with a temperature control from 210° up to 400° F to be able to adjust to your hair needs. Whenever you first plug it in, it automatically resets to the middle of the temperature range, so you can manually adjust it to the temperature you need. And it heats up quickly, very quickly.  It has digital elements that allow a more quick heat time, unlike most flat irons that use analog technology. This also comes with a 9′ , 360° swivel cord, texturized finger grips on the ends, a travel friendly heat-resistant pouch and automatic shutoff after 60 minutes.

Harry Josh Flat Iron

While I’m not quite so adept at the selfies, you can get an idea of what my hair looks like after using the Harry Josh flat iron.  While I hadn’t used a flat iron in a long time, I like this one so much that I am using it all the time!  It is expensive at $250, but if you want a good quality flat iron that is getting rave reviews, it’s definitely one to consider.  It’s available at HairEnvy.com
