The Arthritis Foundation collaborated with Dr. Paul Lam to create a DVD demonstrating how you can obtain arthritis relief with Tai Chi. This Chinese martial art focuses on slow, deliberate body movements and repetitive motions to help your body maintain homeostasis, or internal stability. Typically when one hears the term “martial art” they don’t think of it in a serene, calming form, but that is exactly what Tai Chi for Arthritis offers. It is suitable for all age groups and fitness levels and is a great format to keep you flexible. This is a self-paced system that keeps you in motion and is very graceful in its execution. It is an exercise that offers arthritis relief by its use of postural positions and breathing to help you achieve inner tranquility and external relief from aches and pains.
Tai Chi has been known to improve help with conditions such as, but not limited to: ADHD, fibromyalgia, mental health, coordination, low bone density and heart disease.
Tai Chi for Arthritis has a worldwide following because of its documented abilities to help those struggling with arthritis as well as the above aforementioned conditions.
This 2 DVD set can be purchased for $ 29.95 from Arthritis.org and Amazon.com.

I MUST Have this! Thanks, Dana!
You don’t know how timely this post is for me, Kari. After breaking my back last year, I have experienced a lot of pain and lack of flexibility. When the cold weather comes, so comes the pain. I have a good friend who thrives on Tai Chi, but I had never heard of it as an aid to arthritis relief. Thank you!
