For fall fashion I absolutely LOVE this buffalo check sweater/coat by Anthropologie! Here in Minnesota, it’s almost full on winter coat season, but so far I’ve gotten away by just wearing this. It’s 100% boiled wool, and so soft and warm. It also has a hood if needed. I’m a size 10/12 and the medium fits perfect. It also comes in red, but I like my black and white with a red scarf for a pop of color.
These wedge sneakers from Nordstrom are the bomb! They are more dressy than a regular tennis shoe and they look great with skinny jeans. I love the neutral color which makes it easy to add a colorful top. They run true to size and I’ve worn them all day long with no discomfort. I highly recommend this style to dress up a casual outfit.

I like the wool sweater/coat. It is cold here in Iowa too.
Wool for some reason is just plain warm and if layered you can usually get away wearing wool until the snow is really flying.I have an old pea coat I go outside in and wear it until about January,
