Remember the days of ourĀ youth when we didn’t wear sunscreen?Ā We didn’t know then what we know now about the damage the sun can do to our skin.Ā Now that we’re older and better informed we’ve started to wear sunscreen, but in most cases the damage is already done andĀ now we want to un-do it effectively and efficiently.
Lancome recently released Bright Expert, their answer to reducing those dark spots and evening out the skin.Ā Ā Their website says that Bright Expert works faster than the leading prescription ingredient for reducing dark spots.Ā Ā Since the leading prescriptionĀ ingredient is not mentioned, I’m going to guess it may be hydroquinone, since that was once suggested to me by my dermatologist to reduce a dark spot that was annoying me.Ā Ā But, even hydroquinone is banned in Europe because of some of the dangers associated with it, so I passed and tried another method instead, microdermabrasion.Ā Ā That helped to lessen the spot, but never banished it completely.
I was sentĀ Bright Expert to try and to be honest, didn’t give it a try right away because I was reluctant in thinking it would work.Ā Ā I was encouraged to give it a try after a co-worker of mine changed my mind.Ā Ā One day I noticed her skin looked different – quite amazing actually; soft, pretty, glowing and flawless.Ā Ā I asked her if she was using a new foundation and she said no – what she was doing differently was in her skincare.Ā Ā She had gone to the Lancome counter and they suggested she give Genefique and Bright Expert a try.Ā Her skin became so flawless that she wasn’t even wearing foundation any longer!Ā Ā So of course I had to try Bright Expert myself after that.Ā Ā In less than the 4 weeks they state on their site that you can see a difference, I noticed my spot was gone.Ā Ā Gone!Ā Ā Now, I had lightened my spot previously with microdermabrasion, but as I said, it never went completely away – until now that is.

I used the Bright Expert and it really does work. My question is when the spots dissapear is it permanent? Do you need to continue using the product to maintain the results. Also I love the way my skin looks but I did not use it around the eye area. I recently bought a new 7x magnifying mirror and the age spots right at the top of my cheeks are still there. Can I use Bright Expert around the eye area or are you planning on coming out with a similar product for the eye area. I love Lancome and have been using it for 30 years. Shawn- Dark circles are a concern for me, especially the inside corners of the eyes. Love Lancome products; especially love Le Stylo Waterproof eyeliner and Hypnose Drama mascara (just bought Hypnose Doll Lashes, but haven’t tried it yet!). I’ve tried this brightener in the sample size that came with a free gift. It has a nice luminescence. I am hoping it will lighten some of the freckles on my nose.
Hi my name is Paula! Had a couple of acne scars that I took care of by using Mederma. Was at an outing this past April for a few hours & later noticed brown patches on each cheek. Mederma is not working, as I believe theses may be age spots. I also have some discoloration by my mouth & eyebrow arch from getting my face waxed, PLEASE HELP!!

I have issues with scarring, on my chin especially, due to removing hairs with tweezers. Some times my face gets a little flaky and rashy, despite the fact that I use a great skincare product. I use Elizabeth Arden’s Intervene 3-in-1.

I have several dark spots on my forehead and temples from sun damage in my 20’s. I was prescribed Hydroquinone and have used it for 2 months now. I use to use Bright Expert cleanser until they discontinued it, it was the best product, I always ask if they will bring it back! It made my pores disappear and my face looked flawless. I had sun damage from years of sunning in teenage and college years and recently started using Bright Expert again when it came out.

I have numerous dark spots from old acne scars, in addition to breaking out underneath the skin. This has caused various blackheads to appear. These blackheads need to be popped or else they won’t disappear. However, this causes scarring.

My skin is definitely drier, and thinner. I get regular glycolic facials (which don’t seem to do a thing about my dark spots), and have found that the skin at the top of my cheekbones has become thinner and more sensitive.
I am presently allergic to the sun & do everything I can now to reverse the years of sun worshipping I did as a teen. I do have dark spots that need attention and also broken cappilaries all around my nose & cheek area.

From hydro- chloroquine to aggressive chemical peels to laser! after about 10 days of red irritated skin my face would look beautiful and clear but that only lasted about 3 weeks and then the spots came back even darker and larger. For wearing glasses for so long I have discoloration all under my eyes and I wear the lightest makeup in ever line, so they are quite noticeable. I also have a problem with my skin flaking , I exfoliate but still have the problem !
I would love to have someone address pink/redness in the check area. Its not roseacea, its been pink since my early twenties….I use concealer and a full coverage foundation, and a powder. It works well, most people dont say anything about my pink, they have commented on my healthy pink cheeks, but never anything negitive. It just makes me uncomfortable.

I have a couple of small white bumps that I used to think were pimples but they never grew or changed and now I’ve had them for years, coming to think of them almost as white moles. I wish they would go away!
I have many “freckles” and uneven skin tone from a life time of sun exposure, to the extreme. Now, I am wearing sunscreen and hats, but that is not taking care of the fine lines, freckles, and over sized pores. Not to mention the spider veins!
Would love to try this on my melasma and acne discolorations.
I have redness around my nose and some discoloration.
I have dry patches that show up on my cheeks and under my eye. they may even flake at times.
Along with brown “sun” spots, I have redness from rosacea. Would LOVE to try this, as I tried Hydroquinone and it didn’t lighten at all!

I have recently started to notice more and more dark spots just within the last few months. I have been looking for a product that can help me get these dark spots under control but I want to know for sure that it really works before I dedicate my time and money to it. I also have an oily T-zone and I tend to have problems keeping the shine down when I incorporate a new product into my routine, but I have to do something!
