Congratulations to winner Doreen!
One of my all-time favorite skin care lines is Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare. If my skin is ever irritated, I always grab my Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturizer as it instantly calms it. When I was spending time recently at Rancho La Puerta people were asking me what I use on my skin because it looked so good. I had my Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser and the Skin Repair Moisturizer with me. One woman was so intrigued that on my last day I gave her the rest of my cleanser! I hope she loves it as much as I do! If you want to hear more of what I have to say about the skin care line, you can click Fab Over Forty and here.
When I heard that Liz Earle was coming out with a haircare line, I just knew it would have the same spectacular natural ingredients and I would have wonderful results as well. I was right! I’ve been using the new Botanical Shine Shampoo and the Botanical Shine Conditioner for dry and damaged hair for about a month now and Liz Earle does not disappoint.
The shampoo leaves my hair soft, full and shiny. Not so soft that I have trouble styling, but soft and manageable. It smells fresh and lovely, too! The shampoo is made with 89% naturally derived ingredients and a cleansing agent derived from coconut, and SLS(sodium lauryl sulfate) free and SLES(sodium laureth sulfate)free.
I was nervous about the conditioner – should I use the normal or dry/damaged hair version (oily is available too). I chose the dry/damaged hair version because I do color my hair and it tends to dry out quickly – especially with the cooler, drier air season approaching. The texture is fabulous! Not too heavy, not too thick, but a nice, soft creamy texture that moisturizes without weighing down my hair. The range of conditioners are made from 95% naturally derived ingredients and all the hair care products are safe even for children.
The lovely people at Liz Earle have offered to do a giveaway of the new Botanical Shine Shampoo and their choice of Botanical Shine Conditioner in either Oily, Normal or Dry/Damaged to one lucky reader. Sweet!
How do you enter to win? Put your name in the comments and I’d love to hear if you have ever used natural or organic beauty products. One entry per day, and the contest ends on Monday, Oct. 18 at 11:59 PM CST. Good Luck!

I have tried a few natural/organic hair products that I’ve purchased from Whole Foods. Unfortunately, my hair is such a dry, frizzy mess it was hard to tell if it helped or not. I’d love to try the Liz Earle line. Is it only available online?
I’d like to be entered in the giveaway. I love Liz Earle skincare products (never tried the hair products). In fact, it’s thanks to Fab Over Forty that I finally tried the line. I’d heard great things about the hot cloth cleanser, as well as other items, for years–but it wasn’t until I read about them on your blog that I finally visited the website and ordered a bunch of stuff. I love it all. I have tried many other natural lines, but have found that natural/essential oils-laden products typically irritate my sensitive skin. Not so with Liz Earle–hurray! So THANK YOU for helping me finally try the line. (And thanks for your great blog in general!)
I’m not a regular user of organic cosmetic products, but this line is intriguing!
Kelley, for now it is available in the US at a few stores http://us.lizearle.com/boutique-stockists But mostly in the UK and online.
I have a feeling that since the line was recently purchased from Avon that it will become more widely available – at least I’m hoping!
I recently switched my shampoo to sulfate free and I am always on the lookout for a new one to try.
I have curly hair and always have problems in managing my hair. I would love to try these out! ^_^
I have tried natural beauty products. I like to try a variety of beauty products, natural and otherwise.
I have never tried Liz Earle beauty products but would love to!
Since the weather has changed I’ve been using organic coconut oil as an after-shower body moisturizer. It smells wonderful and my skin loves it.
I too am starting to slowly switch over to natural/organic skincare. I have been using Rahua shampoo and argan oil on my face and loving them! i would love to try Liz Earle as I have started reading more and more great stuff about her line on the blogs.
Love Liz Earle! I’ve used Cleanse and Polish for years, and always come back to it and the toner. I also like Evan Healy, Burt’s Bees, argan oil, and Aromatherapy Associates.
I have tried a few organic/natural products like Burt Bee’s and essential oils. Would like to try these! Thanks for the chance!
I would love to be entered in the draw. I’ve heard good things about this line and I’m anxious to try it as I’ve tried a few organic products and have not been wowed … yet! Thanks!
Hi Kari! I have never tried organic/natural products for my “naturally grey ” hair. Would love to see how they stand up.
I’ve never tried natural or organic products because the reviews were never that great. This line may be different. I’d love to try it!
Heard a lot about this line but haven’t had a chance to try. Thanks for the giveaway
I never used any Liz Earle products. This giveaway would be wonderful to try because I do buy Burt’s Bees and Jason natural products.
I used to buy a wonderful facial mist from a company I don’t remember. The mist they made sounded like a chemistry formula. It was the greatest product ever because it sealed fine lines somehow and really set the makeup while lightly moisturizing. They stopped carrying it in the health food store where I used to always buy it.
I’ve used organic beauty products before, but mostly for cosmetics and not haircare. I have read a lot of reviews and the only one that comes out on top REGULARLY is Liz Earle’s .
I’d like to switch to natural products. My hair is fine and the (not natural) products I’m using are not helping. This line sounds wonderful!
I’ve used Josie Maran products before.

entry for today – also remembered I had tried at-home natural treatments, like oatmeal masks, etc. This sounds a lot easier! Thanks again!
I try to use mostly natural and organic products, especially for skincare and haircare. I’ve never tried Liz Earle’s though.
I have been wanting to try the Liz Earle skin products for a long time, but they are not so easy to find! I would be so excited to try the hair line!
Thanks for the chance to try these wonderful sounding products! Tarte is another brand I am interested in trying.
I love organic and natural products, but I haven’t tried this product line yet. It sounds fabulous, great review.
love to use natural and organic products.
I sampled her face cleanser a few years ago and it was excellent. These products have to be great. Thanks!
Does Tarte count as natural and/or organic??
I have used sulfate free shampoos before but my hair looks flat and greasy after using them 🙁
I have never tried any natural/organic products, however, I would love to!!
I don’t believe that I have used any natural or organic hair products. But I’d like to try them.
I think all natural is just healthier…..some products out there are really loaded with sooo many chemicals! I get nervous reading long lists of ingredients I can’t even pronounce.
Yes. Over 70% of the ingredients are either natural or organic.
It really is hard to find truly “organic” beauty products but I am really glad that many companies are removing the truly “bad” ingredients that made their products cheap to mass produce but not so good for the consumer.
I have recently been researching SLS free shampoos and conditioners and was introduced to the David Babaii for Wildaid line. I am currently loving these products but would love to try the Liz Earle line- but I don’t believe its available here in Canada.
I am really becoming convinced that natural oils are the way to go. I’ve been using argan oil on my oily/combination skin and loving the results. I’m also using the Kahina Giving beauty eye serum. I haven’t noticed any miraculous results from the eye serum, but it feels really nice and isn’t irritating at all. Next I’m on the lookout for a natural cleansing oil to try. Thanks for the contest!
also tried olive oil
Thanks for the chance!
My favorite lip balm is Intelligent Nutrients Certified Organic 100% Nontoxic Plant Chemistry Lip Delivery Nutrition.

I’ve used the sulfate-free line by L’Oreal.
I tried jojoba oil as a face/hair mask. The results were really good!
actually i have never tried organic hair products! thanks for a chance to win!
I have used organic products. I think they are better for us and our environment. However, you do have to make sure you pay attention to the shelf life much closer.
I’d love to try Liz Earle – I’ve used some natural and organic products, and I use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner now – Pureology. I also use skincare things from Mychelle, and Dr. Hauschka.
I’ve had better luck with natural/organic cosmetics than skin and hair care. tarte in particular comes to mind as not sacrificing quality in the pursuit of organic ingredients. I have not found natural or organic hair care that works for me at ALL though.
I’ve not tried this line yet, but would love the opportunity to try it on my finicky hair!
I think that because these are SLS and SLES free, they have to be better for your hair. I remember when SLS was the bad ingredient….now I see that both aren’t good. Thanks!
Would love to try it for my gray hair…
I need all the help I can get for my hair. I would love to try the Liz Earle organic hair line!
I visited our local health food store yesterday…we use Agava as a sweetener. I thought I might sample some “organic health food” while I was there…umm..umm let’s just say that I think that right now, I’d rather put organic on me than in me and leave it at that.
Would love to give these products a try! I have never used natural/organic products on my hair.
I like SpaRitual nail polish. It’s eco-chic!

I’ve tried Burt’s Bees but I’m kind of disappointed that they went “corporate”.
