Recently when I reviewed the Tatcha skin care line, many of you left comments about having either tried the line and loving it, or hoping to try the line because it sounded so appealing. The newest additions to the Tatcha skin care line are the Luminous Deep Hydration Lifting Mask and Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. You may ask yourself if a face mist like this is really a necessity, good idea or really an extra step that really isn’t worth the effort or time. If you have dry or dehydrated skin this is a necessity, if you have normal or oily skin it’s still a good idea because it can keep your skin hydrated throughout the day without disturbing your makeup. It’s perfect for that extra moisture boost that your skin may need throughout the day. It’s also very refreshing and awakening to the senses.
This is like a liquid, milky emulsion for the skin and contains squalane (non-toxic, non-irritating to the skin) red algae – from the southernmost tip of Japan’s mainland, Okinawa, the red algae is harvested from these pristine waters and an area where it is one of the world’s longest average lifespans. Another ingredient, HADASEI-3 bioactive complex which when misted onto the face gives a boost of soothing hydration. It’s small enough to carry in a handbag or keep at your desk for those times when your skin needs a little boost.
The Luminous Deep Hydration Lifting Mask lifts and firms the skin and leaves it glowing and radiant after 15 quick minutes. The mask has a unique mesh surrounding it that peels off at application. The masks itself is a little thicker and firmer than most masks so it stays put and doesn’t slide off the face. This too has the HADASEI-3 complex and red algae extract, but in a more intense and powerful concentration.
If you were a fan of Tatcha before, you’ll love these products as well. And if you’ve never tried Tatcha, but have been curious – you too will not be disappointed.
