Lancome’s newest skincare addition is Rénergie French Lift and it seems to be getting rave reviews. I’m always up for trying something new and if it involves potential lifting of the skin, I’m in for sure. It’s the one major thing about my skin that bothers me.
Renergie French Lift is part of the Rénergie collection of skincare and the key ingredients in this new addition are a combination of Resveratrol and Rye Seed Extract which is what Lancome calls Resveroside™ Complex created to fight the appearance of slackening skin. It’s a night cream and a big difference is the additional piece to this is the dry massage that is part of the skincare night time routine to be used with Rénergie French Lift. This particular massage was developed for Lancome in the 1950’s and they’ve now created this disk so you can do this massage at home. The disk is made of a firm, yet pliable silicone that offers a combination of drag and the right amount of slip to give a gentle but firm massage to the face.
I’ve been using this for about 10 days now and I do like the cream. It has a thicker and firm consistency to it and as you’ll see in the video below not much product is needed. Another thing I like about this is the massage. How often do we just quickly wash our face, slap on skincare and call it a night. This is actually relaxing and the deliberateness of the massage really makes you stop and think about your skin. In positive ways. I think because you actually take the time for yourself and concentrate only on you, which is relaxing to do that, especially right before bed. Once I’ve used this longer, I’ll let you know what I think of the results.
Below is the video showing how to do the dry massage and use the skincare. Enjoy!
