On a recent trip I decided to give some skincare samples I had a trial run. I don’t like to travel with full-sized bottles or jars of skincare so these little mini week-long samples I had were a great time and place to give them a try.

I’ve never been disappointed in Orlane skin care and had a feeling theses would be great, too.  I wasn’t disappointed, but discovered a welcome surprise along the way.

During the day and night I used the Thermo-Active Firming Serum first and the texture of it is like a lightweight lotion – not a gel serum as I had predicted it would be. It’s a firming serum, and hello, my skin can use any firming it can get! I noticed shortly after application that it had a slight warming sensation that quickly went away and it didn’t feel too warm or irritating, just quickly noticeable and disappearing as quickly as it came. I did feel that my skin felt a slight bit tighter or less slack.  I like this serum!

For the day I applied the Extreme Line Reducing Re-Plumping Cream and the texture was a nice creamy weight and absorbed quickly. With these two products I really liked how my skin felt. But the biggest surprise was that my always-present redness down the side of my face seemed to instantly disappear!  What a very pleasant surprise that was!  And it kept the redness at bay for most all of the day.

At night I used the Repairing Night Cream and again loved the weight – a little heavier weight, but it absorbed immediately and has a fragrant scent that disappeared quickly and did not irritate my senses.  I used these creams along with the Extreme Line Reducing Care Eye Contour Cream day and night around the eyes. Again, the texture was creamy and absorbed instantly and I loved how it felt around the eye area – it really seemed to wake up my tired eyes.

Overall thoughts – I’d give these products all another run and consider buying them. It’s difficult to tell long-term effects on small week-long sample tubes, but from what I tried I really liked.
