We all have skincare products we love and swear by. We purchase them time and time again because we like how they feel on the skin, maybe we like the results we see when using the products or whatever your reason may be. But then one day you wake up and don’t like the results you are seeing any longer and just don’t know what to do. Your wrinkles seem to be out of control, and heaven forbid when in the world did that saggy skin start to appear and when did those cheekbones disappear? Well, one option is to go beyond the basic skincare and turn to FDA approved devices such as this NuFACE Trinity.
There’s no doubt it’s almost like a cartoon character looking device, at least I think so, but it’s no joke. This little hand held device works to improve facial contours and skin tone. It’s available with other attachments which help for wrinkles and specific areas like the eyes and lip area, but the double ball top is the attachment for contouring the larger areas of the face. It works with soft wave microcurrent that gently stimulates the skin to approve appearance. Microcurrent was started originally as a medical therapy for patients with atrophied facial muscles, but then was discovered what it could do for general use.
A couple of things to know about before using. You have to use an oil free cleanser on your face to remove dirt and makeup. If it isn’t oil free the microcurrent doesn’t work like it is designed to. Don’t use if you are pregnant have a heart condition or epilepsy and other conditions the site will explain. Then you take the primer, which is a gel-like substance and put it on the designated areas of the face and then turn on the device to the desired strength (I suggest starting at the lowest level) and gently trace the device along the designated areas on your face. It’s super simple! It only takes about 5 minutes to do the whole face and it is recommended to use at least 5 times a week for the first 5 weeks to see the desired results. After that, it can be used less frequently to maintain. Once you are done then wipe off the primer and apply one of their serums they now have (shown below) or continue on with your regular skincare routine.
