Lancome has kicked off Genifique Day a little early this year. Instead of one day, they’re pretty much celebrating it most of the month of October. During the month of October most people are aware of another good cause, Breast Cancer Awareness. But Lancome Genifique Day holds a special place in my heart. Proceeds of the purchase of Genifique goes towards St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. A few years ago Lancome asked me to join them and a few other select bloggers to go to Memphis to meet some of the kids and their families and hear their stories and find out what truly a difference you can make directly in their lives by donating to St. Jude. These children and their families simply amaze me. Even two years later after visiting the hospital I still feel the profound effect of how the stories of their lives touched me.
Right now Lancome has a fun promotion that costs you nothing, but gives in return. Just take a photo of your hands making the heart shape and post it on Twitter or Instagram and be sure to use the hashtag #LancomeGivesBack For Twitter or Instagram it’s @LancomeUSA Every photo they receive they will donate $1 to St. Jude up to $20,000! It’s that easy!
Also with every purchase of Genifique on October 24th and 25th they will donate $7 to St. Jude. Throughout the month there are also special events at specific locations where they will also donate $7 of a Genifique purchase during those event dates (shown below)
