Estee Lauder has released the newest battle against eye wrinkles and lines with Perfectionist Line Smoother (CP&R). This little tube of eye care is said to “smooth fine lines and creases immediately and over time”. Well, we all seem to have heard these claims and while a skin care product may actually help with fine lines and wrinkles over time, let’s face it – we’re impatient and we want to see results “NOW”! Right? So I took their claim and put it up to the challenge.
Above you’ll see the “Before” shot – I have absolutely no makeup on (duh). You can see my fine lines and creases and my “hatchmarks” as I call them. Pretty normal, everyday stuff.
Then I applied the Perfectionist Line Smoother under my eyes, tapped it into the inner corner and outer corner as well. This “After” shot is taken around 3-5 minutes later. You can see that the “hatchmarks” around my eyes appear diffused and softer – somewhat less noticeable. An the area around the under eye/inner corner looks softer and smoothed out – it almost looks like the image was diffused in that spot. But, make no mistake – there is no photo altering here – just cropping to get close up shots. I was particularly impressed. Perfectionist Line Smoother tube has a soft rubber tip to apply the product smoothly around the eye area and it works great around the lip area to smooth out those fine lines and prevent lipstick run.
I’ve only been using this a week and the company claims that it will help diminish these lines over time. One week is not enough time to put that to the test, but the short term of it I like. The photonic optics in the cream give the illusion of being airbrushed and it contains Estee Lauder’s exclusive CPR-75 Technology which supercharges and restrengthens skin’s natural line-correcting ability.
