My favorite holiday gift that I ever received was a diamond necklace that the hubs bought for me. Its a very small diamond but I loved it because it was a total suprise to me.
My favorite holiday gift? Cheesecake – with a cookie crust and cherries. When it’s made by a professional pastry chef, it’s just heaven. My mother and I ended up eating it for two days straight!
Best gift ever received? My iPod. 🙂
My friends bought me the Maybelline wet shine lipstick years and years back….and I remember being soooooooo happy. It was one of my first lipsticks…
My favorite holiday gifts ever received were the precious ornaments made by my children.
My favorite gift given was twelve photo albums to family members with pictures dating back to the late 1800s of our family.
Thanks for a great giveaway.
Happy holiday to you and yours.
I was eleven or twelve. My aunt gave me a makeup case shaped like a hatbox. Inside was a small tube of pink lipstick, and pale pink polish.
She has three daughters of her own, so she knew I would love this, but she has NO clue about what she started.
Mahalo for the contest!
My favorite gift was a pair of garnet earrings my dad stuck in my stocking when I was about 11 or 12. I still wear them 30 years later.
My favorite holiday gift’s were always from my grandmother – each year she would give her grand-daughters something personal that she had for many years – like a candy dish or bowl. I always thought these were so special.
My favorite gift as a child was a Mia doll-remember her-the hair pulled out of her head! My favorite gift as an adult is diamond jewerly that my hubby gives me!!
Best holiday gift is the Selmer Paris alto saxophone that we’re surprising our daughter with this Christmas!
Fav gift would be diamonds =)
This is hard . . . .It would be a gift given to my BF. I had these lovely diamond earrings (half caret each), but since I’d retired from work, I’d stopped wearing them. After a couple years of them laying in my jewelry box, I had a Bling Moment! I gave them to her for Christmas. At first she was afraid to wear them. I kept telling her that’s why I gave them to her- “to wear!” Now she wears them all the time, and I get to SEE them. I never got to do that on myself.
The hard part of this was an “or either” giving Fruit Cake to my husband. He adores it so much. Before knowing him, I never knew anyone who even liked fruitcake! The joy he gets from fruitcake is something to behold.
Happy Holidays!
I got my own animation designed and created by my boyfriend (an animation major), which told the story of how we met, only as penguins (my favorite animal). It was the most creative and awesome gift I’ve ever received!
Diamond earrings..love them.
i WOULD HAVE TO SAY THE DIAMOND RING MY HUSBAND BOUGHT FOR ME. mY ORIGINAL ENGAGEMENT RING HAD THE DIAMOND BUSTED OFF SO HE BOUGHT ME A RING WITH DIAMONDS ALL AROUND IT. i HAD BEEN WANTING A REPLACEMENT FOR YEARS.
My favorite gift was the sink/stove/refrigerator playset I got when I was four! The best gift EVER!! I played with it for years and will never forget how excited I was to get it! That was 39 years ago!!
When I was about five, I received a troll village playset. Little trolls, the cave they lived in, donkeys and carts etc. I absolutely loved that thing, until my dad accidentally stepped on it and crushed it.

My favorite holiday gift was I one I received a few days ago in a Christmas card from a good friend of my mother’s, who passed away a few years ago — pictures of my mom.
Happy holidays.
The best gift I ever received was a bracelet from my mom. She gave both my sister and I one. She also gave a little card with it. It is very special because that was the last Christmas that we had with her.
My favorite holiday gift was the first thing my daughter brought home that she made herself from school for me…all wrapped up in paper she had colored all by herself, with about a pound of scotch tape!
My favorite gift was a laptop i received from my dad last year:) Made me so happy that i didnt have to go to the university everytime i needed to check my e-mail!
My favorite holiday gift was my engagement ring.
A trip to Disneyworld was my favorite gift.
Favorite gift is the one I’m giving to my toddler nephew this year. It’s a children’s CD full of songs with a picture songbook so his parents can sing the songs to him and show him the pictures!
my pale blue flocked Christmas tree…….long story…….
Back in high school, my parents gave me my first airline ticket to see my best friend who had recently moved away.
My “kitchen” when I was 5.
My favorite gift was my engagement ring. It was given to me on Christmas Eve, after we had driven 9 hours to his grandparents house. He knew exactly where he wanted to propose, so he sat in that dang car for all those hours and didn’t spill a word of it. LOL.
The pearl earrings my dad gave me. I’m the only girl in the family with pierced ears, and he always liked girls to be “natural”. But years later, he finally gave in and bought me some beautiful pearls.
Some Betsy Johnson tights, I didn’e expect them at all and they were exactly what I wanted.
My favorite holiday gift I have ever gotten was tickets to see a show on broadway. The show was great, and walking around afterward watching the snow fall and the christmas lights was sooo pretty. Thanks!!!
My favorite gift was a full length white mink coat. My husband bought it for me for Christmas. I Love it.
A Christmas ornament my granddaughter made at preschool especially for me.
One time my brother found an out-of-print book that had been a childhood favorite of mine. It stays in my mind as one the most thoughtful gifts I’ve ever received.
My favorite gift I’ve ever gotten (until I get the Nintendo DS from my mom!) was the Merino Wool Sweater Coat from Banana Republic my boyfriend bought me last year (soooo soft and comfy!!) and the Timberland boots he designed for me (Black with pink stitching and my initials). So cute!
I gave my son fishing gear last Christmas…..he was so happy, I CRIED!! When I was little I was given an easy-bake oven….I was beyond thrilled!! As I was getting ready today, I realized that I had no moisturizer, so I’d love to win. Thanks!!
Presents my children made
My favorite holiday gift that I ever gave was a diamond necklace to my wife that I bought.
I hope I’m not too late for this! My “older” skin is really feeling the effects of winter this year. This sounds like a wonderful solution! My favorite Christmas gift was when my husband was in the Army and had been sent to Germany in 1981. He had been sending all his money, except for pocket change, home to me in the States to take care of myself and our two very young daughters until we could join him there. When our travel orders finally came through after 4 months, we discovered that we would be arriving only two weeks before Christmas. We had no money left for presents for our kids! I was so devastated on the flight over that it really clouded my anticpated reunion with Jim, not that it was his or my own fault; it was just circumstances! I was too cowardly to try to explain it to the girls alone, so i decided to just wait and maybe their Dad could find a gentle way to tell them that Santa would not be coming this year. He has a wonderful way of making bad news easier to accept than I do; I tend to panic! Can you imagine how I felt that evening after arriving and the kids had gone to sleep when my Jim opened the huge locked hall closet and showed me all the wonderful gifts that he had for them and even for me! He had taken a part-time job without letting me know as soon as he got there and had been stashing back gifts ever since! All this and he was in a foreign country, trying to get used to the new demands of Army life and only keeping $20 dollars a month for himself! Is it any wonder that he has been the love of my life, as well as my anchor, for 36 years and counting? He gave me the gift of love and peace of mind that year.
My husband and I got a honeymoon cruise! Best present ever!
One favorite is a hand knit scarf I got from my Aunt Betsy—I have learned to appreciate it more with every passing year. It is no longer stylish! But it is warm and that counts for a lot when you’re out walking the dog in below zero weather.
A haircut at a REALLY REALLY nice salon. Even the tip was paid for, along with hair products I could leave with.
My partner really isn’t into the holidays. So he really didn’t want to put up a tree last year. I was sad but wouldn’t argue. That night when I got home from work I saw a glow in the living room. And there it was all decorated and lit up!!! I was sooooo happy and jumped around like a little girl! Best ever!!!!!
My fav gift I ever got was the year my hubby proposed and gave me my beautiful engagement ring! This is a great giveaway, I would love to win, thank you!
The best gift I’ve ever recieved during the holidays was when my family gave me an all-expense paid trip to New York City! I loved it! Thanks for the giveaway:)
My favorite holiday gift was seeing my daughter’s eyes light up during her 1st Christmas. She was seven months old at the time (1984) when my husband and I bought her a Teddy Ruxpin talking bear. We were so young at the time and we really couldn’t afford it however, it was so worth it to see her do a double take and jump up and down in her crib because the bear was talking to her. That time was so magical, as well as memorable. I couldn’t ask for anything more.
The best gift I ever gave was a smoker for my husband – he carried it outside, and wanted to make every meal with it. He has used it for years, and it brings him so much joy (as well as lots of good food!)
Thanks for the giveaway
my husband gave me a pearl necklace
Best gift I ever received was a whole stereo setup. I love music and my hubby got me a Bose GS 1-2-3 player and speakers, plus a sony turntable and a Home Doc system for my iPod so I could play my iPod thru the new music system. I use it all the time and couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful gift.
My favorite holiday gift that I ever received was a picture of a tree that my toddler grandson drew for me last year.
Thank you!

Looking back now, I’d have to say the best gift I ever got for Christmas was the cheesy Salad Shooter my hubby bought me. It turned out to be the best gift ever because we had so many laughs over it!!! Good Memories!!!
My dearest Christmas gift ever was a Boxer puppy I named Olivia. I loved her so much !
My son was born near Christmas last year and having him for Christmas and for many many decades to come will continue to be the greatest Christmas gift I can ever receive.
I got my engagement ring.
The best gift I ever received was this past Christmas. I am single and live in Manhattan. My mother and stepfather split their time between Florida and New York. My mom had parties and plans throughout the Christmas and New Year’s holiday in Florida. I have been feeling extremely depressed for the past few weels. A few days before Christmas, I heard a knock on my door and to my surprise, there was my mom, who had given up all her plans and flew into an extremely cold New York to spend the next 10 days with me. The presents she brought for me are still wrapped sitting in my living room. To me, they are meaningless. Having mom around and her allowing me to just be a kid again for a week, was just what the doctor ordered. I feel very privileged and blessed to have received the gift of selfless love from the best mother in the world.Oh and by the way, did I mention that I’m 47 years old!!!!!.
