Weekday

I enjoy taking part of my Sunday to organize my week – think about what meetings I may have during the week, those nights when I don’t have my fitness classes to attend will I be doing something that evening or just settling in for the evening. With life quite hectic I need some organization and this week these are some of the things I’ve been thinking about.

I found this great reversible tote by Street Level that holds everything and still looks great. I’ve gotten countless compliments, stopped in elevators and while grocery shopping, where did I get my bag! And yes, it’s reversible and it cost less than $50. I don’t have time to keep a diary, but I love the concept of one – I think it helps to keep a person grounded and a way to express your feelings in a manner you may not want to express to a person. Well this Keel’s Simple Diary is beyond cool. They ask you the questions, you just fill in the blanks for the most part. It’s fun and enlightening. I really need to get back on track with skincare and one thing I can always rely on is RoC Deep Wrinkle Serum. I know I’m getting my good-for-your-skin Retinol and it helps to keep those pesky wrinkles at bay. While we might not have as much daylight hours as we did a few short months ago, wearing sunglasses is a must in my book. I’ve been  told that when I wear my Bobbi Brown sunglasses I look like a total diva. Good or bad? And this European cult favorite of May 28th.me watches are so fun – they have cute graphics on the face of the watch and are definitely a conversation piece. I’ve also been getting into the holiday beauty that’s out there and am incorporating many of the pieces into my non-holiday work weeks. The Bobbi Brown Deluxe Lip & Eye Palette is a must that doesn’t scream “holiday”. It’s wearable at any time with 8 shadows in matte, satin and shimmer shadows wiht a brush included. There are also 8 lip colors ranging from nude to deep. A Bobbi classic. IT Cosmetics has a new “IT Girl Set” for the holidays – a trio of limited edition CC+ Lip Serums in a pale pink, medium rose and a red rose shade. These are so moisturizing and with the weather turning cooler my lips tend to dry out quite easily so these are a lip saver! And now that it is cooler, I swear I am always with a scarf and then before I head out the door I top off my look with a scent. This one is the limited edition for the holidays by Elie Saab Le Parfum- L’Edition Or.The same lovely fragrance as before, but the bottle has been given a new look with subtle gold look and a gold neck, making it much more glamorous for the holidays. At night when I’m ready to “crash” for the day I pull out my Porter magazine for the best of beauty and fashion inspirations
