We’re on to day 5 of the Summer Lip Look series – it’s kind of been like the World Series of lips! I would love to hear what everyone thinks of the lip looks so far. We’ve gone from subtle to bold and everything is definitely summery. Today we have a lip look created by Dustin Lujan, Beauty Ambassador of Tom Ford Beauty. I met Dustin several years ago while in NYC, and although I don’t get back there as often as I used to or as often as I would like to, we still keep in touch with the latest beauty looks.
What’s Dustin’s favorite summer shades? It’s a mixture of the new Tom Ford Lip Color Shines, a more sheer and lighter weight version of the Tom Ford classic Lip Colors and one of the Lip Glosses.
Dustin likes to apply the Lip Shine in Frolic, a soft coral shade and then top it with the Lip Gloss in Pink Guilt. Frolic sheer lip color is a sheer warm punch of a warm pink to add a sheer coat and warm the lip tone. Layered with pink guilt gloss a warm bronze gloss with and undertone of pink the two colors contrast making the lip look full and supple. When using a brighter base you can wear a sexy summer bronze lip without looking muddy.
