The oh-so fab over 40 celebrity makeup artist Sandy Linter, is sharing her favorite summertime beauty secrets with us! Sandy has been a makeup artist for years and her work has donned the covers of Vogue, Bazaar, Glamour, More, and countless other publications. She’s also Lancome’s Expert at Every Age artist. I’ve had the opportunity to meet Sandy on a few occasions and have always been impressed with her work from famous celebrities to the non-celebrity.

Here are three simple products that Sandy Linter has as her favorite summertime beauty secrets:

Spray Tan.  Sandy says “I am very ugh pale. Not that pretty white pale, but sluggish pale toned skin. I do a spray tan every two weeks. I find they are much better done by a person than a machine. The color is better and it stays on better.”

Bio-Oil.  “I use Bio-Oil to keep my skin moist. I get it easily at good cosmetic type drug stores.” 

Flash Bronzer by Lancome.  “The best formula to keep the $60.00 spray tan going, is Lancome Soleil Flash Bronzer.  I apply it with those clear plastic gloves the hair colorists’ use. The reasons are first it blends the product beautifully, evenly, and second no tan palms. When you finish doing your arms, legs and chest, put a bit on your hands which have been covered by the gloves.”

“That’s it!  $37.00 for the Flash Bronzer, plus the price of the oil around $10 and the spray tan are cheaper than laser treatments.”
