Last week I had a great time with Rhona from Giorgio Armani Beauty at the Nordstrom Trend Show. I haven’t seen Rhona in a few years, but she definitely knows how to work her beauty magic thru allergy puffy eyes and all! She is, however, a Premier Face Designer for Giorgio Armani Beauty so I’m sure she’s seen it all. She’s beautified the faces of Kerry Washington, Camilla Belle and many more.
Giorgio Armani recently released their Eye and Brow Maestro, which is a brow enhancing product that can be used not only on the brows, but as an eye shadow, eye liner or even for hair touch-ups when those pesky grey’s show up. It comes in 9 shades (shown below) and is a creamy formula so it’s pliable, but stays put for up to 20 hours when applied. Most brow products are pencils or powders, which are matte. This Eye & Brow Maestro has a bit of a sheen to it so it looks more like natural hairs, as hair is not a matte finish. Rhona really made my brows “wow”! She used shade #6 Medium Blonde on me. (sorry the photos from the day are not the greatest, but all I have)
Rhona really knows how to work eye shadow magic and is a master at it! I like how she made my eyes pop without over-doing it or doing a major smoky eye. Below are the products she used on my eyes. First she used an overall ivory shade on the lid and then using the Eyes to Kill Solo she applied #9 on the lid and smoked it out with shade #16 (which I had already owned). Then surprisingly, she took Eye Liner #7 in Teal along the lash line and blended it with shadow #4. She topped my lashes with the new Black Ecstasy mascara for lots of length and volume.
For the face she first applied the CC Luminessence, but that alone doesn’t give enough coverage to my skin. Maybe it would be enough if I were not doing a full-face look and just a simple weekend type of look. So she also used Luminous Silk Foundation in 4.5 – which I’ve used this foundation for years and it has won countless awards. It truly is flawless! For my blush Rhona applied #306 Cheek Fabric for a soft, natural look. Then to highlight and add some warmth to my face she mixed Fluid Sheer in #5 and #2. They go on so sheer that they’re quite undetectable, other than they give the skin a soft glow.
For the lips she used Lip Liner in #4, then applied the Rouge Ecstasy Lipstick in #103 and the Flash Lacquer lip gloss in #103 as well.
It was GREAT to see Rhona and I always love the looks she creates and all the women have such a wonderful time with her! Rhona also had these great beauty tips!
