Every once and awhile I’ve come across a skincare product that I really love and can’t wait to share with you the discovery. That would be true with Biossance. One of the many things I like about Biossance is its multi-purpose use, mostly for the skin, but really it can be used in so many ways. On the skin, in your hair, those dry cuticles, you get the picture. The versatility of Biossance makes using it a no-brainer. And the more simplified I can make my day and my countertop less crowded with product all the better.
Biossance is a clear emollient that isn’t greasy or sticky so you don’t need to worry about it staining things. It’s super light weight and absorbs quickly, no matter where you use it. Here’s how I’ve been using it – after I do a quick morning face cleanse with either a cleanser or cleansing water I apply my sunscreen and I’ll either mix a few drops of Biossance right in with my dollop of sunscreen or apply it directly to my face after applying sunscreen. My skin can vary from normal to dry, but for daytime a few drops works great as my only moisturizer. At nighttime, depending on my skin’s condition after cleansing, I’ll apply around four – maybe even five drops all over my face and neck and if my skin’s really dry I’ll add it to my night cream. It’s not like a heavy oil so you don’t need to be afraid that your face will be like an oil slick. With my skin type it soaks in right away and the best thing ever is how amazingly soft my skin feels. Beyond soft. A few times when the humidity has made my hair a little out of control with fly-aways, I’ve taken 1-2 drops and worked that into my hands and then rubbed it into my hair. It works wonders!
