The Nuance line is a skincare and beauty line created by Salma Hayek currently sold at CVS/Pharmacy.  Salma’s philosophy is that good skincare and beauty can be affordable and accessible to many and need not be exclusive, which is why she created the line.

“Inspired by my grandmother, my products are designed to help every woman enhance the nuances that define her individual beauty”

– Salma Hayek

I had the opportunity to try out the Facial Cream Cleanser and the Facial Serum.  The cleanser is priced at $7.99 and is made with rice bran, passion fruit and babassu oils it is a gentle creamy cleanser that helps with calming and soothing dry skin. I think this cleanser is good for most skin types besides just dry. It’s gentle and left my skin feeling soft, clean and not stripped from facial oils.

The Renewing and Brightening  Facial Serum is not a harsh serum and works gently on the skin.  It left my skin clear and smooth feeling.  The applicator of the serum is not like any other I’ve ever used.  It has a metal roller tip where you squeeze out a bit of serum and roll it along the face to spread the serum out and into the skin.  This sells for $19.99 and contains natural goodness like licorice extract to brighten and even skin tone, macadamia oil to soften skin and includes silica for a soft-focus effect.  Salma’s products are paraben free and never tested on animals.

Does this mean I will start to look like Salma soon?
