I don’t talk very much about NARS Cosmetics. I feel like I’m typically hit or miss with the makeup line. The skincare line is quite incredible, however. The skincare is made by Shiseido and I’ve never run across a piece in the NARS Skincare collection that I didn’t like. The makeup line, I have to admit can scare me at times! I mean, if I were a 20 year old rocker the vibrant, intense shades would be perfect.
But, not all shades in the line are like that. Who doesn’t own one of the iconic Orgasm shade in either blush, highlighter, lips etc. And there are other very beautiful shades as well.
I recently stopped by the Nordstrom NARS counter and Jillian was working. Jillian is a very talented artist – you know the kind when you meet them – no hesitation in what is suggested you would look good wearing, gives you great tips you’ve not heard before and knows you probably don’t have 30-45 minutes to put on your makeup in the morning, but that you still want something to make you look good. Jillian is one of those people, not just a sales person, but a true artist. I now have a new found respect for NARS Cosmetics
