I was just at macys and he was there along with other makeup professionals on his team, I never have any one ever give me a "make over" but decided to try it, one of the girls was VERY helpful and answered all my questions and showed me exactly what to do.
In reply to <a href="https://www.faboverforty.com/makeup-over-forty/makeup-and-beauty-tips/#comment-10076">lisa</a>.

I use a prescription retinol at night and then I use Dior Capture Totale Serum. When I'm not testing skin care products, I used to use on a regular basis Lancome's Absolu Precious Cells Night Cream, but for summer it is just too heavy. I was given a week's worth sample of Dior Capture Totale Night Cream and really love it. The texture is a bit thicker, but it goes on amazingly nice - absorbs quickly and my skin feels flawless after applying it. And I do moisturize my oily t-zone. Another one I really like is Orlane Nuit - it's crazy expensive, but I like how that one feels and makes my skin feel too. I know some people will use a different moisturizer in that area, I don't. I will use a toner in that area and not necessarily in other areas, but even though skin is oily it still needs moisture.

Dear Kari,
Can you list a few of your favorite night time moisturizers?

I understand that you have an oily t-zone area(??), do you moisturize that area too?

Thanks!

In reply to <a href="https://www.faboverforty.com/makeup-over-forty/makeup-and-beauty-tips/#comment-9960">Elizabeth</a>.

Hi Elizabeth, The main difference between the two is that Skinflash Primer does not have the skincare benefits that the Capture Totale Radiance Enhancer does. Skinflash Primer is just a primer alone and there would be no need to use both - it's just a matter if you want the skincare benefits or not. Hope that helps!

I finally learned that blending is key, but even more importantly, using the right brushes!

I'm a little confused about something: how do the Skinflash Primer and Capture Total Radiance Enhancer differ? They both seem to aim for radiance and evened out skin tone...
