I have many a pins on my “beauty” page of women of a certain age, ahem, that are so unbelievably beautiful. I’ve also been noticing, when I watch some of my television programs from years gone by, there just wasn’t as much emphasis on 20 year olds. The casting consisted of a mix of all ages, but it wasn’t so young, as everything seems now. Subsequently, the characters seemed more interesting. There is nothing wrong with being 20, but when you’ve lived a little, it makes you much, much more interesting. You gain an inherent coolness that being 20 will never have.

Bravo to Nars and Marc Jacobs for recognizing that women of all ages can be beautiful.
