The Giorgio Armani Fall 2013 is now hitting the counters and it’s packed with vibrant shades of purples, blues and greens. They’ve taken the basic colors and made them “wow” with an iridescence to some of the shades that adds a mystical dimension to the colors. These can be worn with either a light hand or more intensely as shown above.
Above you will find palette #2 of the two new compacts for fall. Each of them contains a face color on top and flip up that shade to reveal 3 eye shadows on the bottom.
In my small image (excuse the cell phone image, but that’s all I have!) you can see when the photo is taken with a flash the iridescence appears in the green center shade. The three shades are Copperwood, Iridescent Jade and Sea Green.
The top shade for the face is much more beautiful in person that it appears in either my photo or the Giorgio Armani photo. They call it Light Pink, but there is a lot of golden shimmer in the shade that I tried to capture but was unsuccessful. A very, very pretty shade. To be honest, I was a bit nervous about the eye shadow shades, but the artist put them on my friend Monica and they looked fantastic!
The second palette, which is actually Palette #1, has shades of Smoky Purple, Iridescent Blue and Satin Grey Blue. For the cheek the blush is a Rosy Blush shade. However, the Saks I was in did not have this particular palette.
The new fall collection also has 6 new Eyes to Kill Intense Eye Shadows that have a kaleidoscope effect. Shown above is Rose Popillia. These shadows create an optical illusion with their Kaleidoscopic Pearls.
Lastly, they’ve added 6 new Rouge d’Armani lipsticks to the collection. The shade 612 is what is worn by the model on the very top image and #300 is shown in the image directly above. The shades were from the Armani catwalk and have become a key trend for fall.
If you aren’t afraid of color, this is a beautiful collection of colors and textures.
