If there is a season I want to last forever, it’s Fall. I love the warm sunny days but a bit of crisp air, the changing of the leaves, the smell of fall and of course the rich colors. Laura Mercier Sensual Reflections Fall Collection has a name that fits it all and the colors to fit the season.
Cocoa, golds, plums, dark greens, brick reds – all beautiful shades of fall that you will find in this new collection. Above are a few pieces from the collection and I’m obsessed with the Plum Allure eye shadow shade.
Here I’ve used it over my liner on top and bottom of the eyes and into the crease. I love the shade and think it also makes my green eyes pop a bit. It’s a satin matte shadow so it’s not dull and not too shimmery, yet they have some dimension to them.
The lip shades shown near the top are Desire gloss and Sienna lip color. Show directly above are top to bottom Desire gloss, Sienna lip and Plum Allure eye shadow. Desire comes across more brick red when applied and not as deep as it looks in the tube. Sienna looks intensely dark in the tube, but goes on in a rich burgundy with brick tones in it – sienna is actually the perfect color description for the shade. Plumberry may be a better choice if you don’t like quite a deep shade.
The Cheek Melange is a beautiful palette for the face. The shades off-set each other to give a lovely glow and soft tone to the face.
