Last month I had the opportunity to meet Aerin Lauder. I was at the High Point Furniture Market and Aerin not only has a beauty line of products, but also home furnishings, lighting, accessories (both fashion and home) and lifestyle, too. They are all beautiful. Classic, timeless pieces that one would have forever. She also has a book out called Beauty at Home. It was at her book signing at High Point that I met her. She’s even more beautiful in person and when it finally was my turn to have her sign the book, I told her I was a beauty blogger and have worked with her PR people for many years. She was surprised, of course, because how many people work in interior design and write beauty blogs?! I think this photo was of her reaction when I told her who I was and what I do.

I would love any of those suggestions, but I have been especially coveting that bracelet for a few months now. I’m going to add a couple items from the Aerin line that I also love.
I love the green vase – such a pretty pop of color with white flowers or even an assortment of colored tulips. The shagreen heart box a client purchased and at the office we were all drooling over it. It’s lined in a suede fabric and you can put those special pieces of jewelry inside or any other little item that you keep close to your heart. And who doesn’t love a good picture frame. They’re always timeless and you can put your favorite photo of your children in it – a perfect finish to Mother’s Day.
