Around the holidays Charlotte Tilbury came out with four makeup sets to make quick and easy applications of makeup in four different looks. They are all named “Quick ‘N’ Easy“ but then carry the names, Natural Glowing Look, Daytime Chic Look, Red Carpet Party Look and Smoky Eye Evening Look. I immediately gravitated toward the Natural Glowing Look and have been thrilled with my choice ever since. I can always count on using this set to give me a polished and put together look in just a few minutes flat.
In the Natural Glowing Look set you get a small Wonder Glow, a miniature Legendary Lashes mascara, a full sized Beach Stick in Moonbeach, a full sized Matte Revolution lipstick in Very Victoria and a full sized Color Chameleon Color Morphing Eyeshadow Pencil in Amber Haze all in a plastic “kiss” makeup pouch. Each kit is $75 and has different products depending on which one you get. But I felt with this one I would get the most bang for the buck and be the one I used the most.
The colors shown on my hand are at the top – WonderGlow, left is the Beach Stick, Very Victoria lipstick and Amber Haze eyeshadow stick. These are applied with a fairly heavy hand and can definitely go more on the lighter side if you wish. WonderGlow I was worried I might not like – I’m quite picky about my glowy, shimmer products. This blends beautifully and sheers out quite nicely so you don’t look like an oil slick. It can be applied either on top or under your foundation. Beach Stick is very lightweight and again blends beautifully. Very Victoria lipstick is part of the Matte Revolution line. Don’t be afraid of this matte – it’s ultra creamy and goes on smoothly. The Amber Haze eyeshadow stick is applied very intensely on my hand. It sheers out easily with either a finger or a brush. If using a brush, I personally like a flat head brush like a concealer brush to work it out initially and if you feel you need to work it more, then use a fluffier eye shadow brush. But honestly, fingers work great! And the Legendary Lashes mascara – WHOA! It gives you amazingly long, thick and defined lashes. I am definitely buying that in the full-size.
Overall, I love this kit and use it often. On the mornings when I’m in a rush I don’t have to stop and think about what makeup I want to wear and worry about how it’s going to go on or look. This is a given for me for an easy, polished look.
