When I was asked to be an Aveeno Ambassador again this year we had a phone discussion about some of the new products that Aveeno would be coming out with this year. When the new Aveeno Positively Ageless Skin Strengthening Hand Cream was mentioned I literally let out a yelp! Aveeno may have questioned whether they should have me as an ambassador at that point, but when I explained why I was so thrilled – I think she understood my happiness.

I have been on the search for a long, long time for a hand cream that isn’t greasy, keeps my hands moisturized (I re-lotion my hands no fewer than 10 times a day), didn’t smell too perfumey, didn’t cost me a fortune for a good cream, and most importantly it had ingredients in it that were for aging hands that would help with the crepiness my hands seemed to have developed overnight.  It’s a tough list, I know.  Like I said, I’ve been searching for a long, long time.

My search ended when I received this tube of hand cream from Aveeno. The Positively Ageless line from Aveeno has naturally derived anti-aging technology. As we age external stresses (environment) and natural aging cause our skin to become more fragile from dehydration. Southernwood is an ingredient used in the line, which is a combination of natural sugars and polyphenols that help to bind water to skin preventing moisture loss and it strengthens the skin’s barrier for stronger and younger looking skin. Personally, I like how it feels on my hands – they are moisturized without any slick-greasy feeling and they STAY moisturized for a long, long time. I’ve already noticed an improvement in the crepiness of the skin on my hands, a big relief to me.

The Aveeno Positively Ageless Skin Strengthening Hand Cream is available now at your local drugstore where Aveeno is sold for $5.99 for a 2.7 oz tube.  They also have new to the line a Skin Strengthening Body Cream.  If you have tried either of these, I’d love to hear your results.

I am an Aveeno Ambassador. I am not financially compensated for being an ambassador, but products such as this are sent to me for review. All opinions and results are my own.
