A random selection of my 5 Fab Finds this week, but it fits all my randomness that goes on in life. I hope you can find enjoyment in these selections.
1. Steve Madden Chaufur Smoking Slipper Shoes – The hottest shoe style to hit the stores this season. Classic, comfy and stylish. I love this grey flannel version as they can be worn with black or color, to work or out to dinner. Any way you wear them you’ll look absolutely fabulous!
2. The Tory Birch Blog – Her blog isn’t necessarily about her products, but instead stylish places, people, things. She has great taste in music and knows all the cool spots to go and people that go to them. There’s even an app for that on iPad etc. so you never miss a stylish moment.
3. Russel & Hazel – Founded right here in MN by some fabulous women and I am lucky I can head right to their store and spend hours visualizing that I’m going to get myself organized! In all seriousness, their organizational products are amazing and the color combinations out of this world. From classic greys, whites and tans to pops of chartreuse, orange and hot pint. Your office can look amazingly stylish and it will be so much easier to find things once you organize with their key products.
4. Crate and Barrel Boka Lime Lamp – I love a crisp, white room with a punch of color and this well priced table lamp is the perfect pop of color. On trend with the color, but not so “out there” that you’ll tire of it easily. I can see it on my white desk next to my Russel and Hazel products!
5. Roo Panes – This is somewhat of a two-in-one Fab Find. While on the Burberry website recently I discovered they have this amazing spot where they feature acoustic artists. I found myself up till wee hours of the morning listening to the various artists. Roo Panes is one of the featured artists, but he isn’t just a musician. Apparently Burberry liked him well enough to make him their male model in the Fall 2012 Collection and his song Indigo Home is featured on the Experience page featuring him and model Gabriella Wilde. Unfortunately Roo’s song Indigo Home is the only one of his that can be found on iTunes and hopefully that will change soon.
I’m a minimal skin care gal who uses drug store skin care products. Daily sunscreen has been in my repertoire since my early 20s. Now that I’m over 50 I’ve added an exfoliating scrub. I was recently laid-off and have decided that I need to include a review and update of my “look” as part of finding a new job so I appreciated finding a site like yours. I think I’m in pretty good shape but it never hurts to establish a baseline.
Thanks for listening. I’ll be back 😉
Love that lamp!
