A new book by Alice Harris, Blow Me A Kiss, comes out in July. It’s a book about our fascination with lips and depicted in 80 black and white and color images from various film, photography and paintings and artists Andy Warhol, David LaChapelle, Alex Katz, Roy Lichtenstein, Man Ray, Jeff Koons, and many more. Many of the images have been in Vogue, LIFE, movie posters and museums. What is it about our lip fascination? As a lipstick fanatic I am always intrigued by the lips and while many of the images show lipstick covered lips and the seduction of them, not all is about the lipstick. I can’t wait for this book to come out! All proceeds from the book go to charity.
