In the last year my hair that used to be pin straight, then a few years ago got some wave to it and now when it’s the least bit humid I turn into frizz head.  It bothers me. I want smooth hair and sometimes even blow drying it straight doesn’t help keep it smooth.  Ugh.  So when Dove sent me this sample size shampoo and conditioner to try, I was game.  The first time I used it, I was out of town with hard water – not ideal conditions for testing a shampoo and conditioner, but on the day I used it, my hair didn’t get quite as frizzy and I didn’t even use a blow dryer that day.  Then when I returned home I gave it another shot – and a real test was our horribly humid and high temp and dew point weather we’ve been having here. This week our heat index has been over 100° and the air is so thick I think you could cut thru it.  Here’s what I discovered: I didn’t need much product to make my hair feel clean and smooth – the shampoo lathered very nicely and I only used the conditioner on my ends and it left my hair feeling moisturized and soft, not dry and frizzy.  I was able to get my hair smooth with a blow dryer and it actually stayed that way!  This works great for what I’d call medium dry hair, not really damaged dry hair.
