SQN

Some days my inbox is so bombarded with emails it’s difficult to get thru many of them. But then every once and awhile there’s one that sparks my interest right away and gets me excited. That’s what happened when I received an email from SQN Sport. It’s a new sportswear line for women and I love it! What’s different about this line is I feel it’s made for all kinds of women and even women like me who certainly aren’t stick thin.

SQN Sport

SQN Sport long sleeves

SQN is an acronym for Sine Qua Non, a Latin term for “only the essential”. SQN Sport was designed with simplicity, practicality and design in mind. It’s stylish enough to wear outside the gym too. I purchased this sweatshirt (below) and wore it to work on a casual day recently. It’s lightweight, and all the tops are cut long, a huge plus in my book as I am very long waisted.

SQN ZipI like how the exposed zipper takes this up a notch from a basic long sleeve sweatshirt. And by sweatshirt – this isn’t your husband’s fleece. This is super soft and light weight and cut for a woman. This good looking zipper back also comes in a short sleeve shirt version, too.

SQN SleevelessSQN Pant

I received the sleeveless top and running pants to try and liked them so much that when I signed up for their email/newsletter and received notice of a 50% off sale a few weeks ago I purchased several other pieces – the sweatshirt, the short and long sleeved t-shirts, another sleeveless t-shirt and I will be going back for the long sleeve sweatshirt in grey – which is made of a wool blend.

The running leggings (and all their leggings) have a higher cut (great for when doing yoga poses or burpees) and the extra wide band has two slit pockets in the band – one is larger and holds a cell phone and the other one is smaller and holds a key. Other thoughtfully made pieces include the poncho (shown at very top) – perfect for slipping on when leaving the gym and it covers your bum when wearing leggings. Perfect to slip on when either running home after a workout or if you’re like me and need to typically stop and need to pick something up before heading home.

The line is base out of Sun Valley, Idaho and made in the USA (yay Labor Day today!) and definitely worth a look.
