Spring DressesSpring is finally here!  I think – it was snowing here the other day, but we’ll forgive Mother Nature for that slight mistake.  But I’m in a dress mood – how about you?  There are so many great spring dresses that I thought I’d share with you my 5 favorite finds. 1. Shirt Dress – is there anything more classic than a shirt dress?  It’s something that can be in your wardrobe for years and will never go out of style. A shirt dress is slimming and I like the 3/4 sleeves this one has to give it a slightly updated look. Wear this with anything from pumps to an open toe sandal, from work to drinks after work you’ll be ready to go.

2. Sport Dress – They call this dress “League Of Its Own” – I have a friend who wears dresses from Title Nine all the time while running errands and she always stays cool – and looks it too! I like the fun colored zippers that make it sporty, casual and keep you look put together. And who doesn’t love pockets to carry all those little extras. Throw on a pair of cute flat sandals or a pair of Keds and you’re ready to go!

3. Stripe Dress – Stripes are in for spring and summer and this one looks stylish without too many stripes for those of you who are worried about wearing stripes. I think this dress is so much fun and can be worn to the office (slip on a white or navy cardigan for the chilly days) and will keep you looking stylish into the summer. This would also work great for a brunch with your girlfriends too.

4. Work Dress – Need a dressy dress? This updated take on the sheath dress is great because of the seaming.  The placement of the seaming visually makes the waist looks smaller – who doesn’t love that?! This is a great shade that works for many skin tones and the length and style are so age appropriate. You can’t go wrong with a dress like this.

5. Casual Dress – Maxi dresses are still in demand and this is a little different take on that with the high-low look. I can see this great green shade worn with a short jean jacket and a long pendant necklace and wedge style shoes.  You’ll be the most stylish casual woman in the room!
